I agree with some of your points however from memory and I would have to go back to the environmental report which was initially passed I am sure it was less and the fact that more improvements could be made would have also been consideration.

I am not an environmental scholar and neither am I an expert on blue or white hydrogen, but we have a mega mass of plastics that damage the environment that could be removed for energy.

With regards to the process of and I think it was mitsubishi burners these were actually reviewed and assessed.

For the 2050 mark. Obs that is not from you but very fluffy & general need for all government's.

If Usk or a similar project happened SAE or not as I have said it is the bridging technology of a 20-25 year lifespan.

Probably during this time we improve the process and effect it may have on the environment.

Also this enable another way to produce energy.

I am not and have not said that it is the best technology for sustained green supply however it is an option that again I would prefer over nuclear, for certain reasons.

And the big question mark on this relates to the absolute mammoth investment throughout all the infrastructure areas within the UK.

The initial cost of this I also off the scale.

Although a 10 year plan for hydrogen has been drawn up it is flimsy in that it has changed 3 times already in 2022.

The cost has also increased to over£9B.
As you mentioned earlier about carbon capture at Usk. You may have been reflecting about the remediate method.

Well Hydrogens cornerstone also need CCUS carbon capture usage and storage.

Also that it must be electrylitic hydrogen hence how it is formed may in some cases not be carbon 3.

For the building if the infrastructures and mechanism not only to give energy but also have full use of air, rail and other transport modes as well as household energy is a monumental requirement and that I why I disagree with the comment that it can be done.

You are correct though in the drive to hydrogen.

As I have stated prior the reason I see SAE doing a Usk like project which I think will be external to THE UK is and can provide energy and cash for pushing green tidal renewable energy.

Plastic derived waste that costs money to reuse and cannot be repurposed is removed into sub coal pellets to temporarily bridge the gap to electrification

How do we get from fossil fuel over indulgence to net zero and get ergy to the grids globally please enlighten me.

The energy requirements will be going up 50-80% over the next 10 years.

So please give me the other solutions and we can post these to SAE.

The Sub-coal technology is not a permanent fixture but more a bridging technology to get there.

Tidal again is a key technology as per SNO conference today but getting there takes time,cost and effort.

All smoke and mirrors and then we have globally hundreds of coal fire power stations that can be converted to Sub-coal plastic.
