The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Joe Bass,
Hope springs eternal in the human breast.
You hope for a positive announcement in fifteen days - please, that may prove to be not the case.
The world has been turned upside down since the positive announcements of just a few weeks ago. The good news is that we have enough money to keep going, for now at least.
Goodness knows if any of our hopes are going to be fulfilled by this tiny company.
The lack of news and Gooding suddenly becoming as silent as the grave, can best be described as a concern.

storm.
These are beginning to look cheap.
goupplease,
Steady on Sir,
Quite a number of posters on this site have, in the recent past, posted that the Board is 'world-class'.
It has even been said that NFX doesn't need the Chinese money since there are so many other big deals in the pipeline.
Are you now saying that these posters may have got it a bit wrong?
I never thought that I would live to read such treachery on the pages of what appears to be an NFX Fan-Club site.
Amazing!
If there was ever a time for Mr. Gooding to pull the rabbit out of the hat, it is somewhere around now.
Should Mr. Gooding be unable to deliver, then we must start asking why?
It could be that in today's market the product is not of sufficient interest to potential buyers.
jay12,
Thank you very much for your sane assessment, there may have been a couple of typos here and there, even so, it was possible to get your drift.
On a board where a majority of contributors are given to write 'rah, rah' posts in order to build their sometimes flagging confidence in their investment, it is most refreshing to read your words.
With thanks again,
storm.
Mohsin15,
The difficulty is that I have listened to Dan who appeared to be saying that the Chinese payment would be through by Chinese New Year, this has not happened and it is time for an official clarification.
How ever it is dressed-up here, with 'a load of tosh being spouted', to put it in intemperate words used here, about tax systems and Chinese IP rules, the fact remains that this money is past due. I agree with the poster who has said that the money may not matter in the long run, in view of other potential deals, even so, if it has gone wrong then we should be told so that we can all put it behind us and move on. Perhaps Mr. Gooding will do us all a favour in the future and consider it prudent to stop doing interviews when there is no hard news to shout about, he raised expectations which turned out to be wrong. Whilst there are many on this site who worship Mr. Gooding, there is a fair number who still regard investing in NFX to be something of a gamble. Meanwhile, GLA, may we get a positive announcement before the start of the New Financial Year.

There is a story in today's paper, Sunday Times I think, about a British company being taken over by a Chinese company.
It seems what happened was that the Chinese didn't pay, but they did manage to first get their hands on the intellectual property.
TheBadBat,
If as you say, Optimist is never right in his predictions, then this is good news. It looks as if we really are going to be 'home and hosed'. All very bullish, time to fill the boots perhaps?
Having listened to Dan's latest interview and thought about the promises he has made for the first quarter of the year it is no surprise that the shares are up 15%.
Now we have to wait and see if it comes good.
If it does all come good, then we should be getting on for £1.00 per share.
Only three months to wait.
Sadly life is rarely that straight forward!
Since there doesn't seem to be much happening here other than the usual small fall in the s.p.
In today's issue of the NY Times, there is an interesting, albeit not directly related story.
It seems that in Canada the marijuana sales have been 'tanking' as have the producers share prices.
The main reasons for this it seems are all sorts of regulatory difficulties, particularly so in major cities.
Another difficulty is that the market has not really grown and the hopes for a boom in marijuana sales are now evaporated.
However, as of today, there is new hope in Canada, marijuana-laced food and drinks are to start being sold.
Just imagine, you take the wrong milk out of the fridge, put it on your cornflakes and in your tea and then attempt to drive to work in the rush-hour!
The chances of arriving without hitting another vehicle would be virtually non-existent.
It's going to be interesting to see if this new marketing ploy catches on.
