This trading update is not exzctly good news. I will wait for the auditted results hopefully they will not be a total washout. However, it looks like hottrader may be proved wrong on the profit this year. I wonder who he will blame this time.

Roulette - I have read some but not all of the Act. While not an area I am conversant with I believe it is similar to provisions relating to comppulsory purchase orders in that you get permission to go through another persons land but you have to pay them compensation.

Cityslicker - The High Court would only say no if somebody was to actually oppose the application. As to your point on timing the reason for maming the application now is probably because they are only now dealing with the MTS so it was not a priority until now. With an undertaking as complex as this you would not want to have more things going on than you need to.

SBMGB - I have just read the relevant provisions and I am confused the provision says the Minister has to make the reference to the Court. The application should in the first instance be to the Minister. That said I do not believe that it is anything to worry about . Assuming that SXX owns the land under which the MTS will be running this will be just a rubber stamping. As far as they do not own the land then the court will probably add a condition that SXX pays compensation.

When I get back from my meeting I will have to listen again. But I think you are right he did seem to say that they may not need the second TBM. As to what this means I am not sure.

Denno - I think that both depends on whether CF meets or betters his stretch target. If he meets or betters his stretch target then there is a slight possibility of a small dividend in 2021. However, I would expect any revenues in 2021 to be applied to reducing debts first.

Oldrascal - It would not surprise me that one of the possible reasons for not leasing as opposed to buying the site is to avoid the clean up costs. The clean up costs would fall on the owners which SXX will not be. Also I do not see why there should be any connection with the guarantee the econnomic case for the guarantee is string enough on its own.

Poortiming - Good question the answer for which might become clear when we see the details of the terms of the lease. It maybe that it was cheaper to lease than to buy. ALso it may be that the facilities may not be needed for the full life of the mine.

A potentially interesting development. If it does lead to lower cots then the economics of the project will be even better. It would be interesting to see if this is mentioned at the forthcoming AGM. That would depend on whether we have a binding agreement done by then.

Dijon - How do you define just as I think you will find that Kore Potash actually listed about a month ago. I would not call that being just listed.

I presume that the figure after the companies name is the amount of investment that is being looked for. In whihc case it looks like HMG is trying to find investors so that they will not have to provide a guarantee or at least ensure they will not have the guarantee called on.

what I found interesting in the recording is what was said about the pricing. Thomas appeared to indicate that they might be updates on the pricing of Poly 4. I think I heard him say that there will be regular but not frequent updates. That woould seem to imply something like once or twice a year. Are we going to get an upward revision of the price for Poly 4?

SL- My view on dividends is that initailly they should be kept low so that the debt can be paid off as quickly as possible so that the company can operate as a cash business. In this regard I would be happy for dividends to not start being paid until 2023. My reasoning being that with little or no debt the share price may be hihger than if we are carrying an unnecessary amount of debt.

Not if the concluded deal is not reached until the day before the AGM so that they are still negotiating until then.
