Are the interim results likely to be this week. I thought somebody said last week that they have been on the 16 August in the last two years. If the loss for the six month period is higher than last year I presume we will get the usual negative comments.

Cranleigh re your 18.24 post I recall someone posting awhile back how long you can delay reporting a trade and with a 5m trade it is possible for a trade on the 6th not to be reported until the 7th.

As sirius has to pass the salt seam to get too the polyhalite seam and rock salt has some value i do not see any issue in extracting it if this can be done without too much disruption to the extraction of the polyhalite.

The present balance of Institutional Investors and Private Investors means that for any takeover to suceed you would need the majority of private investors to agree to the bid. I suspect that the majority of PIs re like me and would only agreeto a takeover that is supported by the BoD. I do not see a hostile takeover suceeding at present. II would need a holding over 50% before it would be a serious concern in my opinion.

Myosotis - The second patent which appears to have been granted in January appears to cover using Polyhalite in Pellet forms were the pellets are 1 - 8mm.

I must confess that I find the patent applications harder to follow than a plitical party manifesto. But it does appear that the US patent application filed in 2015 was granted in April 2015. What effect that this would have on ICL's ability to try and sell it's product without breaching the patent I am not sure of.

Myosotis - All these patents would seem to place SXX in the position that soon anyone who would want to develop a granualteed fertiliser would have to use a SXX patent providing a possible income stream or two.

Boshanks - I would say very good because I am anticipating that for political reasons HMG will give the guarantee allowing for the issuing of government guarateed bonds for the bulk of the money needed.

andyg - True but up until the decision sxx was trading in positive territory but has been negative ever since.

The decision appears to have had a negative efect on the share price.

As the BoE has riased the base lending rate to 0.75% and loans are sometimes based on the base lending rate what effect will this have on st2 finance if anything.

It was also an official government press release so that would lend credence to the belief that a government guarantee will be forthcoming soon.
