One reason for me not investing in ITM is that it is as far as I can see reliant on using significant amounts of water. I have just seen a Sky News report that June was a dry month. If we get into a drought situation how would this affect ITM does anyone know.

Piltick - In relation to your 10.50 post I had a similar thought PHE allows for 15 days a year downtime for maintenance. So with this process I can see them needing 20 - 30days for maintenance. I am not sure why they need to vapourise the feedstock.

PHE will be forced to issuse a statement before the day is out. I do not see them being allowed to stay quiet as the price continues to go up for no apparent reason.

Yesterday we had just shy of 3000 trades in one day and a one third rise in the share price on no news. With a response like that it begs the question what kind of rise would you get on actual news. The next news I am expecting is the publication of the annual report and accounts at the end of June. Based on yesterday if they are as good as I hope then it might be a buckle down safely day.

oldblue1973 In relation to your 16.22 post you hae to remember that plastic is only one of the possble feedstock that can be used with the DMG system. There is always end of life tyres, waste paper and cardboard and MSW.

Jabberba In relation to your 14.41 post I note that it costs ITM more to make the hydrogen than they earn from selling it. They seem to survive on grants from central government. I note that CfD Auction round 4 will be launched next year by BEIS. Perhaps Peel/PHE could persuade them t alloate some of the money for electricity generated from gasification. I can see a Peel/PHE joint bid being able to offer to sell the electricity for £35 MWe in exchange for a commitment to purchase a large amount.

But things have acclerated over the last couple of days with over 1700 trades the last two days. Today we seem to be heading for over 2000 trades the volume is approaching 6m in the first hour.

100percent In relation to your 23.19 post of yesterday I actually have shares in both. PHE have developed thier own technology which has similarities with the Eqtec technology. PHE has a number of agreements with Peel Environmental which will see initially about 11 sites developed with PHE receiving around £5.5m in annual fees. Planning permission has been granted for the first site with work due to start in September ater the bird breeding season ends.

Apart from Peel there may be some international oportunities. Personally my view is that a strategic alliance between PHE and Eqtec may be worth exploring.
