Speedy_Gonzalez In relation to your 21.12 post of yesterday do you know which sub reddit that is being used as I may be inclined to post factual information on Sunday.

Apart from the poor quality of the research it is also internally inconsistent. As it makes references to companies that are not revenue producing at the same time as accepting that it is producing revenues. This load of rubbish can be safely ignored.

I have just seen this tweet https://twitter.com/CommonsLeader/status/1354741535930281987 on the 11 February there is a debate on the publication of the Integrated Review. This does not appear to be a government debate but we might hear about the when the Integrated review will be published if we do not get this on Monday.

If BAB and BAe are doing the Type 26 and the Type 32s then will they have the capacity to also do the Dreadnought Class. If not for National Security reasons INFA will be well placed as I see it to take up the slack.

I have just had a look at the questions currently down to be answered on Monday. Further to my email to him Sir Geoffrey Cox is not taking the opportunity to ask ask him if his department would consider undertaking to place an agreed level of business with Harland & Wolff as it does with other shipbuilders so as to improve the employment opportunities in the area.

However about three MPs are asking about what recent procurement decisions have been made by the Ministry of Defence it would be interesting to see what the follow up questions are. Also Emma Hardy MP is asking when the Integrated Review will be published. Interestingly she is a member of the shadow Education Team and not the Shadow Defence Team so unless there is a constituency interest, she is a the MP for Kingston Upon Hull West, looks like it is a personal matter.

Speedy_Gonzalez In relation to your 01.32 post having read the article I note that it references three separate tender rounds two UK and one Scottish. Also you have to remember that H&W has fabrication yards which are about the same size as the one mentioned in the article. I am therefore relaxed about this as I am confident that the Team Resolute tie up can land contracts out of these tender rounds as the assets and experience are in place.

I note that we have not had a research note from Cenkos yet I was expecting one yesterday. Perhaps we are going to get a fuller note with some kind of valuation.

whatamess In relation to your 12.18 post you have to remember that the decision on if/ when the Marine License will be granted is not wholly within JW's gift. You have to keep in mind that DAERA have not so far shown a willingness to come to a swift decision. JW is basing his comments on information provided to him by others.

We have a roadshow planned for 10 March it was originally planned t be in Belfast but looks like it will now be online. This is a matter that we can bring up then. It would seem that the trading loss is as high as it was because of the Director's Remuneration. If satisfactory answers are not given then discussions may be needed with the large shareholders about capping pay in the future.

Based on what was said in the Annual Report when the interim results come out in April I would expect to see revenues between £7m and £9m with an operating profit of between £1.5m and £1.8m. I do not have an estimate of the trading loss. If large contracts materialise then INFA might achieve the objective of breaking even in the 2021 calendar year.

ThisTimeNextYeer In relation to your 14.24 post what I found interesting apart from JW arranging the Export Credit Guarantee Facility which would help with cruise ship finances post Covid is this quote '“We’ve seen a real shift in the past six weeks. We’ve gone from cruise lines saying ‘Yeah we’ll look at March or April’ to ‘We’d like to dock between these dates and here are our specifications.’” that would seem to indicate that the next three months might be busy.

Of important note is that the current assets are more than the current liabilities. From the point of trying to obtain contracts this is an important metric. As everyone expected the post period highlights were the most interesting. Ferry repairs are bringing in circa £1.5m a month. Once Appledore starts generating revenues this would increase. Would be interesting to see what Cenkos says

Chrisatrdg In relation to your 19.58 post of yesterday aside from the issue of the accounts which could have been handled better my frustration is not with INFA but with the incompetent idiots. They seem incapable of making a timely decision. As defence questions are on Monday Lord Empey's colleague Mr Donaldson is likely to press the point with the Secretary of State.

dawski37 In relation to your 18.25 post Stena Edda is according to the Belfast Harbour page not due to transfer to any of the normal INFA docks. Any repairs seem to being done in situ.

Loosegoose In relation to your 19.01 post I do not have any information on which to form an opinion. I am currently planning to find funds to top up just before the interims in April.

I am not sure about House of Lords procedure so I do not know if the government knew what questions apart from the first question from Lord West were gong to be asked. If all they had was the Peers name the question from Lord Empey would have been easy to guess as the subject was shipping and he was a Northern Ireland peer. Which begs the question will we get an update soon on the discussions.
