Speedy_Gonzalez In relation to your 16.18 post the capital cost of the windfarms are such that it is unlikely that they will be built without some for form of subsidy. In the UK for windfarms the main form of subsidy will be the CfD Auction Round 4 which will set the price that would be paid for the electricity produced. This income would fund the payments for the loans for the capital expenditure and generate the profits you mention. From statements made by HMG one of the conditions for payments under the CfD round is local content. Therefore in order to sell the electricity produced into the grid they would have to use local content.
Apart from the NnG project four licenses were awarded to build offshore windfarms around the UK waters and Crown Estate Scotland will be soon launching an auction for further licenses so there is likely to be more than enough work for INFA to bid for.
