Tango1 In relation to your 07.34 post the CEO seems to be putting all the pieces in place to start winning business so I would hope for news before the next roadshow.

Jds13 In relation to your 07.14 post the latest acquisition is of a fabrication business not shipyards. Although I believe one of the sites can be used for ship repairs.

I note that the deferred consideration is payable on gross group turnover of £75m within the next 24 months I would not bet against that happening well within that time period. I would observe that INFA has assets in England, Northern Ireland and with this new deal Scotland but as yet not Wales so far as we know.

It would also mean that the cash raise that whatamess is expecting may not be as imminent as he thought.

LSE03 In relation to your 11.22 post it is certainly something to keep an eye on. I suspect that Stena would want H&W to do a more conventional ferry build first. I note the size is at the top limit for Appledore.

LSE03 In relation to your 16.19 post I found the Guardian article an interesting read. INFA is well positioned due to the facilities it has available to pick up a fair portion of the fabrication contracts. Here is hoping.

LSE03 In relation to your 15.31 post I think the most notable comment is that when the Minister said publication will be in March some MPs asked what year. For health reasons I will not hold my breath.

Nobby31 In relation to your 15.17 post I agree with you. If the interim results are in line with my expectations that should set INFA up for a good H2. It has to be remembered that from Q2 we should see contracts in relation to tenders from the first half of 2020 starting to appear.

There are some interesting questions to the BEIS Ministers to start the day. Of possible particular interest is the two hour backbench debate starting at around 5pm on the Publication of the Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy. How you can spend two hours on the publication f a review is beyond a mere mortal like me but with the current cold snap the hot air might be of some use.

Lottie123 In relation to your 07.06 post the other possibility is that BP will contract INFA to do all the fabrication work. With H&W being close by it would make sense as the subsea platforms would not need to go far. In addition with the new equipment INFA may be able to shorten the time to fabricate the parts.
