Aside from any announcement on shipbuilding In do not forsee anything in the budget statement that will move the share price. Then predicting what will move the share price in any company is near impossible.

Chrisatrdg In relation to your 14.37 post an interesting tender for a number of reasons. In particular the fact that they are going for a negotiated procedure. I would normally expect that to be done if you have a particular contractor in mind otherwise go for a full tender. It may be that the negotiated procedure is being used because there is some pressing need to have the contract in place for June.

One concern is that to go for this would preclude any bidding for any subsequent contract.

TheEast In relation to your 07.15 post if I recall H&W is an approved yard for this work so perhaps this would raise the profile of this work and lead to some additional work from firms that want to avoid the reputational risk.

Speedy_Gonzalez In relation to your 14.55 post on reading the article I do not think any of the companies mentioned previously owned H&W but I could be wrong. In any looks like there could be some decent fabrication contracts out of this. The planning permission seems rather protracted.

On checking the Belfast Harbour page the Coralwater arrived in port at 07.30 and is currently scheduled to depart at 20.00hrs. We have two vessels in the SRQ

This vessel is showing on the Belfast Harbour website as Departing from SRQ at 8.00. I think that should be an arrival as Vesselfinder as en route to Belfast. What I find interesting is that this will be the first chemical/oil products tanker to come into the yard as far as I am aware. Please correct me if I am wrong. As it is 23 years old it may be a refit with luck.

Is the building dock being repaired? I only ask as have not noticed anything being berthed in it for a while.

Nobby31 In relation to your 11.45 post from the ides of March until April 8 there will be at least one Stena Line vessel in dry dock. So it looks like Stena Line may be rotating vessels through dry dock as the two Stena Superfast ships are currently rotating through dry dock and are due to be finished in dry dock on Monday . I wonder if INFA will be slipping in another booking in before the next Stena vessel arrives on the 14?

Tango1 In relation to your 07.23 post February is the first month of H2 of INFA's financial year. H2 will show in my view if INFA will fulfil expectations as it includes the period within which the possible contract with Triumph Subsea should be concluded. Also some important decisions in the Defence sphere will be made. I also note that there should be at least two operational sites in H2.

On the whole I remain positive for H2.

If I am reading this page https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/INFA/infrastrata-plc/company-page correctly the last three trades were negotiated trades. If that is correct is here any significance in having negotiated trades going into the close?

LSE03 In relation to your 12.46 post the article is short on details of what is planned but it seems inline with previous statements about the site covering the same sectors as the other sites.

I have just seen the planned business in the Commons for the next two weeks and it looks like if the Integrated Review is going to be published this month as promised it will be between the 11 - 25 March. It cannot be after the 25 as the Commons rises for the Easter Recess.

While as Tango1 said yesterday there has not been a contract RNS since December 2019 it does not mean there have been no contracts since then. In fact it is quite clear that the reverse is true and there have been contracts. As an example the Celtic Explorer was in the dry dock over December/January. Bearing in mind who the owners are they would not have been paying for the works unless there was a contract in place. Also Stena Line has had a number of its ships in dry dock or in the ship repair quay frequently over the last year so there must be some kind of agreement in place.

The question is whether we should have had an RNS for any of these contracts. An RNS is only needed if the news would be capable of moving the share price. It is therefore only significant contracts that need a RNS. As to which contracts are significant that is a matter of judgement. If the report in the Devonlive from earlier this week that a vessel has been ordered from Appledore is correct then I would have thought that it would justify an RNS. Aside from that I would only expect contracts in excess of £10m to warrant an RNS.
