If you look at the increase in the holding then at the trades yesterday there does not appear to be a single purchase that matches. I think the purchases are being done in small lots so it is normal daily trading. The only other explanation is that it is coming from the market makers stock.

the 116m Marshall Islands registered Offshore Support Vessel Boka Atlantis is due to berth at Belfast on Monday at 09.20. She is Scottish owned. I am not sure what is wrong with her but it is taking her 4 days to get from Barrow to Belfast. It was in port for 3 days which would appear to be longer than her normal stay. having checked the holding RNSs in the space of 9 days his holding has gone from 2.95% to 4.1% an increase of 1.6% which sounds like a vote of confidence as that is a significant amount to spend. You also have to bear in mind what he does.

He appears to be building a stake up. Question is it a personal or business stake. Also is it a prelude to a offer or a strategic investment.

Not something to make Mr Speaker happy especially if there are more pieces in the papers over the weekend. Shortening the planning process while helpful does raise the question can the production of long lead in items be made quicker. Otherwise I do not see how deployment can be quicker.

This raises the question of his ability to constructively challenge JW as he will not have the knowledge and experience to do so.

Also I note that at the December general meeting it was suggested that they may be looking for two new directors the RNS seems to suggest that they are now looking for one. This would give the NEDs a majority of one I would be more comfortable with a majority of two at least.

chrisatrdg ref 18.02 HARL seems to be developing an expertise in servicing bulk carriers. If they can successfully do the turnaround for the departure tomorrow night that would hopefully put HARL in good stead to get more work of this type. I note that despite the delayed arrival of the Venture Luck her scheduled departure has remained.

If I was the unions I would not hold out much hope for help from HMG. This looks like it will get real messy real quick.
