ref my 06.53 post that should read that it is another contract. In relation to the flagship I note that the H&W consortium design comes from a company with a number of designs for military ships. The only ship the other consultancy has done was the Richard Attenborough. I am therefore reasonably confident that HARL will be successful with this tender as it is partners who plug the gaps in its abilities.

Bubble2021 ref 06.05 post this is only about the design of the Ship so it is possible for the tender to build the ship to go elsewhere. That said it would be strange for the build contract to go to a different consortium. I think that if the delay in the production of the audited results is so that they can be published alongside news of a major contract I believe th\t it is another contract.

TheEast ref 12.01 post I would say that you give a fair summary that even the most loyal of shareholders on here would agree with. I have just read the new Cenkos note and there are a few crumbs on which to be hopeful. That said the low level of confidence in the BoD means that these crumbs need to be treated with caution.

Tapp ref your 11.01 post It seems to me that people who do not want to admit that HARL is making money always say that the term they use refers to a company that makes a profit. Any normal person would read your statement about HARL not being cash generating the same way I did. That is that it is not bringing any money in. That is clearly not the case.

Tapp ref 21.26 post HARL is generating cash the problem it is as yet not generating enough cash to be profitable. Assuming everything that is stated in the results happens then I would expect HARL to start generating profits in 2023/4 with fabrication contracts for the wind farm industry. On the BoD track record that is admittedly a big assumption.

Does anyne know where in the results we would find the value of work in progress as at 31 December?

RazorShulz ref your 12.22 post I agree with Nobby31's 12.30 post most of what it says about future business is similar to what has been said before. I have noted the one exception with regards to doing announcements with the MOD. They have been talking about subcontract work for all the time I have been invested. If you look at the last annual report they were upbeat about sub contract work yet none appears to have come. I would need to see some real progress on some of these mythical contracts they keep mentioning.

Nobby31 ref your 10.55 post as we are likely to have an AGM within the next two months an EGM would be an unnecessary expense. A cheaper solution is if anyone has any way of contacting the 5% shareholder it would be easier to ask him to propose resolutions to be added to the AGM. The problem the current has is low investor confidence in its ability to actually deliver on promises made.

Jabido ref 08.42 post thanks for this I see we have more slippage on the FSS tender timetable. Good thing there is no urgent need for them with all the delays to the tender process. I am not totally convinced that the MOD are not just stringing JW along in order to get better prices from BAe and BAB.

panda1 ref 07.59 post You need to also allow for any income coming in for work done over the last five months. We do not have a contract value for the two ship Cunnard contract. But going by the size of the ship and the length of time it was in dry dock I do not believe it was a cheap contract. We will have to wait until the interims are published in September to see. If we do not see a narrowing of losses then I will have to reevaluate my position here.

Lottie123 ref 07.32 post I am not sure that I entirely agree with you. Any revenue growth is dependent on the securing of contracts and I note some repeated comments about future contracts. Balanced with that is this intriguing comment 'The Company continues to make good progress on the FSS Programme, the National Flagship Project and the M55 contract. Given the highly sensitive nature of all these contracts and counterparties, the Company will make any further announcements in conjunction with the Ministry of Defence in due course.'
This would seem to imply that they expect some positive news on this front soon. I still have FSS pencilled in for June and with that it depends on the revenue split with the other Team Resolute partners. I am therefore cautiously optimistic of the future.

I note that JW's salary was up 15% if my calculations are correct. I have not done the calculation for AR. I also note that there was no bonus this year so BlairPeach will be disappointed as he will not have that to complain about.

mcadder ref 07.14 I agree also it is slightly worrying that they are unaudited with the final audited results next month.

Chitta123 ref 05.21 post I think that the delay comes from most of the MLAs have political objections to the project and are trying to square those objections with the legal position.

Pokerchips ref 18.48 post I have been on tender panels for NHS contracts and when it comes to MOD contracts the delays are not due to the tender process. From issue of the Invitation to Tender to contract award should not take more than 9 months but some how seem to take 12 - 18 months.
