While I understand that the BoD may want to issue news alongside of it I think the market may have already priced in the results. There will be in those circumstances no benefit in delaying the results.

ThisTimeNextYeer ref 00.28 post I am sorry that I missed this one I am planning to go to the next Appledore Investor day. There is an indicator of an uptick in the work coming into Belfast. Last year there would be a 1 -2 week gap between repair work coming in. This year this gap is mainly gone. I agree with you on 2023 for major renewables work as there are other things that need to be done before they can commit to this work. That said we need news of some of these MoU's converting to actual contracts even if the work does not come until next year.

Chrisatrdg Thanks for this I was not sure if the Havilah was the fishing vessel or the fishing support vessel of the same name. I have just checked the Belfast Harbour website and the Corystes is due to leave on Sunday. However, the Havilah is currently showing as being berthed until 10 August. It looks like it is in for a refurbishment. I wonder if this is the first booking for the fishing vessel service.

Chrisatrdg ref 07.55 post I would say that the pre open SP is not evidence of the market losing faith in the share. It did the same thing yesterday and opened flat on the day before. If I recall there were only five trades and as many posts. I think the market is in a holding pattern waiting to see what news is going to come from the company.

It would be interesting to see if we get a general trading update at the end of the month.

I have left it too late to get a ticket for Thursday so will be unable to make it.

Bubble2021 The article mentioned in Lottie123's 17.41 post does not mention any firms as it only references the fact that the procurement has been started. If you read the notice linked in my 11.43 post of Friday you will see that it is planned to have a shortlist of three bidders. I think that a Team Resolute bid would have a better chance of success than either bidding on its own.

I am not convinced about the number of enquiries that turn into actual orders the DE&SI show is a good example there were apparently 30 enquiries on day 1 no news on actual contracts as a result.

RichardMcV It would seem not. JW knows that the Belfast Harbour website is closely watched so had to say something as it would be noticed that the Aurora did not dock as planned. This raises a question about how firm contracts to dock are if P & O can divert ships after an agreed docking. I wonder if there was any compensation for the breach of the agreement or was JW promised more work if he did not make a fuss.

Looking at the 1 Week share chart there has been a sharp increase since the beginning of the month. The share price ended up sharply on 1 June. Since the market opened on Monday after the long weekend the share price has continued its climb. But I am not sure what it is fuelling it.
