I cannot recall when did the rumours first started that Team Resolute had won? I am trying to figure out if it was within the last ten days.

The jump in the share price can be linked back to an answer that the Secretary of Sate for Defence gave to a question in the House of Commons. The answer has been interpreted as the £1.6bn FSS contract will be going to Team Resolute which HARL is a part of. Having listened to the answer as it was given I suspect that the interpretation is correct.

In view of the comment about a decision very soon I note the following written question is due to be answered tomorrow 'To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how he plans to announce the final decision on the award of the Fleet Solid Support ship contract; and if he will make a statement.' The question was from John Healey the Shadow Secretary of State so I would not expect it to be a planted question but good chance that I am wrong on that.

Chrisatrdg ref 07.28 post from what is said in the RNS in relation to the evidence being provided I am pencilling in Q1 2023 for a decision from the High Court. I would not expect a decision in January though.

Chitta123 ref 07.02 post HARL is only an interested party so cannot request anything. It is only the actual parties to the case who can request an adjournment. Going by the tone of th comment by JW in the RNS he is as frustrated as everyone by the delay.

Bubble2021 ref 10.15 post we do no know why there has been an adjournment. There are two parties to this JR either could have requested an adjournment. it is equally possible that the delay is a joint request for a delay to allow for a settlement to be negotiated. So we should not jump to any conclusions until we get more information. Of course if there was in America where they have electronic filing and public access we could just look the court file up.

If it was not that Appledore would have made a loss on the 6m share trade based on the notional price I would think they may have been behind it. If that was the case it would bring your assertion that it is all about the Marine License into question.

Chrisatrdg ref 09.25 post Based on the Bekfast Harbour website both Stena Superfast VII and Stena Superfast VIII will be circling through Belfast over the next couple of days sometimes staying only a day or so. Looks like they are having work done around sailings.

In the absence of a TR1 being filed I have two questions which et 10 out of 10 for being obvious. First who was selling so many shares. There cannot be too many people with such a large number of shares. I note that Appledore Land did not file a TR1 after being given the shares last week. The second question is who is the buyer. Assuming that the same person bought all 6m shares they should file a TR1 as they would cross a threshold. We will have to wait for the TR1s to be filed or the next update of the list of significant shareholders.

JohnHenry ref 16.46 post the only opposition is from the Labour Party and the SNP. However, having listened to the Defence Secretary before the Defence Select Committee I think he had personally made his mind up some time ago. I think he does not think HMG should be investing in shipyards when the owners are not investing.

JohnHenry looking at your posting history I note that you predicted that the FSS contract will go to Team UK. The current mood music seems to suggest that you may have called that wrong. You appear to have called it right on their being strong resistance at 7p. Today is definitely an abnormal trading day on that we can agree I am not convinced that there is a strong seller as at the moment buys seem to be outstripping sells.
