The rather cryptic LinkedIn post that Katya Zotova the HARL NED posted yesterday. She reposted JW's LinkedIn post of last week and commented 'I couldn't agree more - watch this space.' I am not sure how to interpret that is she saying to watch this space for more news in general or something more specific.

I note and I am not sure if it means anything but for the last four trading days the number of trades has been reducing. On Wednesday it was circa 5000, Thursday circa 3000, Friday circa 1000 and today circa 750. Are we going to be back to the more normal 300 trades tomorrow?

Looking again at the questions asked and the information asked I am wondering if they are actually interested in the answers. I say this because some of the answers would require going to HARL for the answers for example how is the Minister supposed to know how many people at each site will be working on FSS. However the time within which a response is requested does not give enough time for the information to be gathered and sent to the Minster for him to give an answer.

Sharebel ref 12.51 post BP is not your ordinary deramper. He does not want the share price to go down so he could buy in at a lower price. What he wants is the shipbuilding arm to fail so he could be proved right that JW should not have diversified from getting IM up and running. With the FSS contract he faces the real prospect of being proved wrong. I am not sure if he is invested in HARL if he is then he is like me trading at a significant loss.

Bubble2021 ref 12.50 post can I ask you to clarify what you mean by IM contract. As you know HARL owns IM so there is no contract to buy IM. Are you referring to the Final Investment Decision or a contract to store and release the gas. I cannot recall the capacity of the seven caverns but a contract to store and release the gas has significant revenue potential. As an example let us assume for simplicity sake that the storage charge is 5 cents a therm a day with a capacity of 5m therms that would equate to a storage charge of $50,000 a day for an annual charge of $18.25m. I think the actual figure will be higher. So the FID will be crucial but should not be confused with a storage and release contract.

I think I know part of the reason behind the unsuccessful lobbying campaign in favour of the Team UK bid. Team UK said their bid would create 6000 jobs. The successful Team Resolute bid will create 2000 jobs. I suspect that the reason behind the difference between the two numbers is automation. In his answers to the Urgent Question on Friday the new Defence Procurement Minister made reference to knowledge transfer. Also JW in one of his interviews last week made reference to planning applications for the Belfast site. (ThisTimeNextYeer can I ask you to look out for the planning applications). This makes me think that modern automated methods of creating the various parts will be used. If I am correct and the result is that HARL learns how to use the new automated working methods so that HARL can complete orders on time and on budget this will cause BAe and BAB. A British company that can deliver vessels on time and on budget as well as cheaper could win contracts that they would normally expect to win.

Jabido after I sent the post I realised I was searching all questions you had searched unanswered only. Thirty Six questions in one week is quite some going. There were some questions on HARL as well.

These are the unanswered questions from the same two MPs on HARL. I am not sure that Kevan Jones realises that HMS Quorn was not sold to HARL bit to Lithuania. Is he getting himself confused with HMS Athelstone which HARL did acquire from the MoD. I note that HARL in their RNS did not say they bought the Athelstone they said acquired it.

CAR3Y ref 05.28 post Welcome to the Board. With regards to IslandNagee as I understand the position planning permission was granted some time ago. The hold up has been with the Marine License which is needed. The judicial review of the grant of the license is due to be heard next January. I am the pessimist on this and do not believe we will get a decision on the day or necessarily within two weeks of the hearing.

You made an interesting point about the Astute Class of submarines it is not something that I recall being discussed on this board discussion has always tended to be on the frigates. Will need to keep an eye on the issue.

MediMan/mrozzy I must say that I find your implications in your posts last night off the mark. If you look at his post history you will find that he is normally positive about HARL more so than me. But when you have been invested in the company as long as he has and seen the share price rise on a positive RNS only within a couple of days drop and continue to drop you can wonder if things will ever change. Viewed against that backdrop the question posed was a reasonable one.
