Those of us who have been around more than a month will recall last time JW bought shares he did it in tandem with Arun. This time Arun has nnot been buying. Does this mean he is in possession of inside information that would prevent him buying shares. The only thing that I can think of that would involve Arun but not JW in the negotiation is the Astra Asset Management debt facility. Can anyone thin of anything else?

ForrestGump ref 08.18 post I think any sustained rise in the share price might stall as anyone reading this board might think it is a pump and dump job. The reason for this of the 13 posts so far at least 10 can be considered ramping posts. Any share that is being ramped to that extent gives the impression that there is no real substance to it.

For anyone who wants to look at all the questions on FSS and HARL the links are further down in this thread. On the latest batch of answers two in particular took my attention this one as it was the shortest answer I have ever seen. It also raises the question of when the inflation uplift will apply. This may be answered in the final contract.

Royal Fleet Auxiliaries are not base ported at a specific location. The in-service support arrangements for Fleet Solid Support ships will be decided and contracted ahead of the class coming fully into service.

The answer leaves open the possibility that HARL may be awarded the contract for the maintenance of the FSS fleet.

CAR3Y ref 18.5 post After the fiasco a year or so when the Irish fishing fleet had to scare off Russian vessels I think the Irish Navy may be in the market soon for some new vessels.

ban4118 - Thanks for that apart from Sir Jonathan Band I cannot see how the others would have a conflict of interest. Unless it was to argue that for them to remain independent they should not have any shares in the company. Perhaps there is something we do not know about.

gmharg I note that it was only 0.01% of the issued share capital. In my view it would need to be higher than that for it to have any effect. Also before everyone gets excited I note that we still have not had any purchases from the other four members of the Board

Can someone explain to me why so many people are getting so excited that JW bought some shares. HARL has five directors only one has bought shares. So why would this affect how people react. As the CFO did not buy shares surely this is a bad sign. Also as far as I amm aware two directors do not own any shares.

I find it interesting that the RNS was not put out at 7am tomorrow. Also it seems to signal that there will not be anymore contract news for a while.

Sp28 ref 11.57 post if you must ramp and my view is that you do not need to ramp this share please get your facts right if you want to have any credibility. The £77m is a part of the deal around the £1.6bn contract. It has not been given yet. It will be probably be invested in the build up to construction starting.
