Completely agree, I think we will soon see a repricing of the SP as investors regain confidence in KMK and see that this time is truly different. I understand it may be harder for those that have been holding for a very long time but with time I think their perspective will change.

Great to see KMK continue to work hard and grow. Shame there is so much attention on the share price and not enough research into whats going on behind the scenes. Personally think Basu has been doing a great job this year and expect much more to come.

Nice research Spectral, this is why I think KMK has so much potential. The quality of their products will stand out and it would not surprise me if they get multiple year contracts with the government for their scanner.

Agree TradeWizard, BATM have three very solid divisions. Focus on these will be much more profitable for shareholders than a diversified approach. Interested to hear which of the non-core business units people would like to see sold first?

Why would they sell now? Very evident that KMK have a bright 12 months ahead. Debt reduced, revenues increased and most importantly lots of growth to come.

Yes I agree Skid, this is a small snippet of the overall picture but there is no denying it was very positive. I understand your pessimistic view and how hearing false promising can be draining, but I think you're negative bias is stopping you from seeing the good! We will get a more definite answer when the annual accounts are published.

Yeah and this is why Skid has such a negative view. A few of us here as "newer" holders don't have the scars of holding KMK for years. From a newcomers perspective the trading update was very good. Excited to see what happens for the rest of the year.

Incredible trading update, clear proof that Basu has turned the company around. Reducing debt by £11.8m in 6 months is no mean feat, coupled with the impressive year on year growth shows that KMK are in a very strong position. Important they continue to work hard and win more deals. I am sure there will still be doubters (there always is) but its hard to deny that this trading update was nothing short of exceptional.

Great article, really showing the potential KMK has. I dont think you can compare our position to Oxford Biodynamics. We are in a much stronger position, especially after having a positive FY, with more deals to come this year imo.

I've only been around for a short while so can't share the pain you LTHs have. Nonetheless I am still positive, the previous financial year KMK was profitable which is a great sign of the turnaround we are all hoping for. One or two great deals this year could really change the sentiment here and thus the SP.

Just a waiting game now for the next RNS as market conditions have dragged the SP lower. I am being patient. The Seimens deal was hugely positive and puts us in a very positive financial position. Hopefully a few more deals like that this year coupled with more certainty in the market and we will be in a very good place!

Would be great if we got a deal announcement in April. Depending on the magnitude of the announcement we could easily see 10p+ floor as the non believers get repositioned.

Targeting developing countries is the ideal route for BATM to take with Edgility. This partnership with Telebras could lead to thousands of edge endpoints across Brazil which would significantly increase revenue. Edgility could be a big player in the Latin American market if they played their cards right.

Skid you are right, the market has hardly moved from the Siemens Deal becomes investors "have no faith". But you cannot deny that the deal Basu has made with Siemens is incredibly. If he follows up on this with more positive news how long till you acknowledge the change in KMK?

Ironknut and battletech are key examples of why I don’t think we have seen the “real move” yet. Many LTH individual seem to have lost hope and only until we see further developments will their tune change (nothing wrong with that, as they have seen this before). But I think many long term holders think the same way, so the next deal will be huge.

I think the reason we have seen the SP drift back down since the Siemens announcement is twofold. 1. Those who bought the bottom saw a considerable ROI so likely took profits. 2. Many investors are still not convinced this is a permanent shift and believe that the positive announcement is a one-off event. The good thing is, when we get the next bit of good news those who think the Siemens deal was a one off will buy back - I personally am expecting the next bit of good news to change the sentiment even more so than the Siemens deal did.

Thanks for stating the obvious Pedro, this is why the restructuring is occurring so focus can return on the high growth sectors rather than a bit of everything. In the long run, specialising in a few key areas will be far more profitable and is a very smart long term strategic decision. Yes short term investors won't like it but most of us are here for the long run.

Always difficult in a transition period, however it's good to see progress is being made to cut waste within BATM. A painful but necessary step to profitability. Also good to see strength in the core business activities like Edgility which continues to see an increase in orders. Once the disposal of non core business units are complete I think BATM will be in a strong place as all efforts will be on the three key divisions.

Investors are too impatient these days and expect positive news every week. Unfortunately in the real world this is not the case. We have found a solid floor at 6p, which looks like a smart area to get positioned for positive headlines in q2.

Agree that BATMs profit potential only increases with the disposal of non-core business units. Concentration can be fully on the core businesses where the growth potential is huge if executed correctly. Far better to be excellent in a few key areas than average in lots. I think in the long run this will have a huge impact on shareholder returns.
