A leopard doesn't change its spots! I think someone got wind of good news earlier today, perhaps, a nod from the main man. Given the sp has been in the pits, any leak that GR has managed to get more financial support is obviously going to boost the sp. They've bought and are holding for official news, as I am. Should be substantial rise when/if the news drops.

What a month this is turning out to be!

I could be wrong but I believe that there are decent moves afoot. Let's just say that PREM and GR are vulnerable just now. What price would GR throw in the towel?

I've always maintained that PREM should have gone for a JV with PREM as the junior partner -could this finally be happening?

Not posted for a long time and have to admit that I massively reduced my holding up to very recently BUT have bought back in... I believe GR is pulling this back from the brink.

Not one to be out of over this weekend. Our Lorna tends to deliver ahead of target. I think news could drop on Tuesday morning.

Our Lorna has a habit of under-promising and over-delivering so we could get news anytime. I've added to my position and will wait for the good news now.

...and an individual M Warner is building up a stake - currently just under 8%. Warner is believed to be a tech entrepreneur with deep pockets.

For those not familiar with CLON, here's a quick note - this Irish minnow has managed to get itself positioned as an integral part of Team Europe, who are looking to secure supply chains for the EV revolution. CLON have some clever tech for direct extraction of lithium which is way more kind to the environment than current means. Currently, they're going through the rounds with the Bolivian authorities to gain approval to operate within the largest deposit of lithium in the world. Over the years, CLON have built up strong, excellent relationships in Bolivia and now have the backing of the EU.. An unnamed German household name, possibly Porsche/VW) will be the offtake partner. A pilot plant is being set up in India to prove scalability of the tech. Market cap is less than £7m!!!

FWIW - the news dropped later yesterday and some people won't have seen it before the market closed so I'm anticipating that the rise continues today. There's a re-rate due here and this could be the beginning.

Some people need to have a close look at what they're actually saying... the suggestion that some people decide whether to invest is based on whether an individual comments on a bulletin board is just ridiculous! Get a grip!

Or it could continue it's rise given that Warner might keep buying and that there's news imminent!

Not unusual for big investors to get a meet with the boss but beginning to speculate that Warner might want a seat on the board, which I think would be very good news if he is who we think he is, or could he be looking at something more?

I'd much rather that DH gave us an update but this is very good news indeed. It's all shaping up very well.

Sounds like he'll continue to add. Whatever they discussed did not put him off so one has to assume that all is going well.

I've not seen that info about gold either...surprised that we've not had an RNS yet.

So they're recruiting and spending money on their website... looks like they've got money to spend. Very interesting indeed... come on, AP - give us an update!

I'm choosing to ignore the rumours and speculation surrounding the diamonds - AP could well have been doing diamonds business in Zimbabwe at the end of last month but I'll wait for concrete news.

Don't know if ASI (if he's still around) has any insight on this?

It won't take much for this to rally... the majority are holding and waiting for that next piece of official news which could land anytime. All the bad news is baked in and any good news will propel this northwards. Even a series of small buys in a row will see this rally a bit.

As you say, nevergonnaretire, it would be a lengthy process (the longer, the better!) and wouldn't affect VAST operations. By the time anything was resolved, BP would be delivering a healthy profit, the sp would be significantly higher and, if he needed to, AP would simply issue more shares. Personally, I don't think that it's a big issue just now.

Mcadder - like you, I'm happy to ride this one out but I might have a more positive outlook though. I'd also love AP to do some sort of interview but that's not his way and I think that they're on the brink of big news so I doubt he'd be volunteering to give an update/interview until official news is out.

I'll repeat my view that I think all the bad news is baked in - the extension has been granted and I'm expecting good news on re-financing plus on the BP reorganisation. Further improvements are also expected at Aprelevka.

There are some clues that it's going to plan - VAST is recruiting plus did you clock the price that warrants can be exercised in the last RNS and the timescale? There's clearly an expectation that the sp will well exceed that price by next July.

I'd love to get access to AP's travel itinerary for the next couple of weeks!!

I wouldn't invest on this basis but so much has gone wrong for AP that his 'luck' has to turn!
