Calm before the storm?

I've not read the whole article but I'm not sure that these are the same licences that CLON are after.

In the end, there will be dozens of plants (if not more) across Bolivia and CLON have put themselves in a good position to benefit either from getting licence awards or from licencing out their tech to others. CLON quite rightly are claiming their tech is superior to others, particularly from an environmental viewpoint (which is important to Bolivian communities) and that it will be scalable - the Bol authorities quite rightly want to see proof of scalability and this is the main key here.

Ahead of that, we're looking for news that the pilot plant has been commissioned, that the synthetic brines have been processed successfully and that the samples are on their way from Bol.

Seems to me, Pauly80, that things are looking quite different this time round... CLON have never had backing like Team Europe or a Geman household name as an offtaker. Both will have done their own due diligence on CLON and the tech -

this provides massive reassurance that what CLON have got is credible. They've never had tech which could be in high demand. And, of course, they have a special relationship with the BOL authorities... as and when, the tech proves to be scalable for Li, CLON will be in a strong position to be awarded at least one of the many licences available.

I've been interested in CLON for many years and, this time round, is quite different, I'd suggest!

He'll need to be quick! Not sure that he'll manage to get that much at these levels though because his buying should move the sp move up. If he wants to get to those levels then I'm wondering if he has bigger ambitions beyond that.

I'm also expecting news of a step forward anytime now.

It's not often that you get a holding where all the charts for different time periods are showing as positive but it is the case with CLON this morning! And it's not surprising that there aren't many sells. I'm continuing to add as and when I can even if it's just a couple of hundred pounds. Market cap is ridiculously low given the position that DH has manoeuvred us into with all the potential that involves. News could drop anytime.

I believe so, ASI. DH has been cautious about saying much beyond what is happening with Bolivia but my understanding is that there is a wide interest in the tech. Once we know that it is scalable, I think we'll hear a lot, lot more plus who the German household name is. And I also believe that this is why he has been 'expediting' things with the BOL authorities with the support of Team Europe to not only get promoted to stream 2 but also to get the delivery of the samples accelerated. I don't know him personally but understand that he is a particularly persuasive, clever guy. I'm not surprised at all when I hear that he's got a very healthy and productive relationship with the Bolivians and that he has helped Team Europe in their dealings with them.

DH has done an amazing job to get CLON in a position where it has the support of Team Europe, potential access to huge deposits of Li and technology to extract it cleanly with limited environmental impact. When you consider that Li is likely to become the predominant replacement for oil and gas, the potential is MASSIVE, as you say. I think DH does seem to have a unique influence on the BOL authorities and, listening to his interview a few weeks ago, it's clear that he has an urgency to see progress... he's clearly on the front foot... so there are lots of boxes which are ticked. I agree that the Market Cap doesn't reflect the potential here but I think some the very minor (in comparison to the massive potential) milestones being hit will put rocket boosters under the sp. News of the pilot plant being commissioned and successful testing of synthetic brines would be a start.

I think news is imminent and we'll soon leave this level of sp behind!

I think when we begin to get the next few updates, the sp will start to really motor and, as you say, it won't go up in a straight line. It won't go up in a straight line, as you say, but I can see a 10 bagger if all goes well and we get through to phase 5. It's not just the Bolivian project but, as and when we get confirmation of scalability, the bonus is that the tech will be in high demand from others too.

If we get one or more licences, the sp could go way higher than that.

Mr T - I can only think of situations where the individual concerned has had a previous connection with the company or CEO being invested in and I would strongly suspect that the individuals had some information that none of the rest of us had. I don't think anyone would have a £0.5m investment in a company this size without doing some thorough research including getting to know the CEO.
