GR is walking a tightrope here... unless he can get some news of an actual sale of spod and it leaving Zim then the sp is going back below 0.1... who would've thought!!!

One has to reflect on, not only, what GR has said but also on what he has not said...he's not said anything about reaching any level of continuous production... this is very worrying.

If my deja vu recurrences aren't enough, he goes and raises the infamous RHA once again... boy, he's getting desperate.

I've grown a soft spot for GR but this is now looking very ominous.

Hasiba - I agree with your thoughts. I'd also say that the EU wouldn't be encouraging/backing CLON either unless they were confident!

I'd like more detail on potential financing from EU and/or another partner.

I'm also wondering whether there are any reasons for Bolivia to favour a European bid?

CLON has to be one of the most interesting plays on AIM and has massive potential... so far, I think DH is playing a blinder - let's hope and pray that it all goes our way.

Just read the RNS and that's as positive as we can get at this stage... very reassuring. With the backing of the EU, there shouldn't be an issue getting through this next phase.

Next step, I hope, is confirmation that CLON gets some additional funding either through Euro agencies or maybe there's a hint that someone else joins in the JV... very interesting times.

Next question is whether some EU funding support will kick in... anyone know the ins and outs of that? As far as I can see, there is a Swiss co, Cyprus co and UK co - the rest are Chinese, North or South American.

Finalising the process - yes. But I don't think that he said that he actually had a shipment to make... and having saleable material is not the same as having material to the standard that Canmax will accept or pay for.

I've been watching GR for a long time now and sometimes, it is only after the fact that one realises why he says certain things! I'd say that there were some things that were credible and reassuring from this interview. Absolutely, progress has been made and he was happy to talk about the issues at the plant and when they might be resolved. He responded to Mark's optimism a couple of times by explaining that things weren't quite as Mark had described. Positive... might even say very positive compared to a year ago when we got scant info about the issues.

However, he was back to his evasive old self when the subject turned to cash. And I'm wondering why he repeated, more than once, that there are plenty of buyers of spod out there. And he looked most agitated at the very end when he made his comments about the market response to the RNS and the market cap - no doubt he wants the sp higher or the next cash call.

I've got a niggle about this question - will Prem be shipping spod that Canmax are satisfied with and will accept before the end of June and that Prem will get 'paid for'?

Also thought the export licence was being dealt with a good while ago??

Jaglith - I think he'll take what he can just now and call an EGM.

I agree - he has to be really bold here. Get the pain over now. I think the recent video was a pre-cursor to a raise so he's probably already got the wheels in motion.

Really don't like where we are and really don't like cash calls but I think it's been obvious for weeks/months that he needed to go big. Make no mistake, GR has got us here... Stark had a role but it's all down to GR.

My tuppenceworth fwiw is that jeopardy for holders continues. Can't see GR getting this over the line without further, substantial cash needed. Very disappointing that there is still quite a list of issues to be resolved. Very disappointing that they're not yet producing SC6 consistently with the plant running continuously and that they need an addition to the plant.

On the matter of GR - ultimately he is responsible for the mess. It was his decisions that got us here. Someone has suggested that he was too proud to seek the right help - I think the word to use is hubris. He clearly is an intelligent man but I think he set out, with the encouragement of Snowking and others, on a path that was untested. Personally, I think he would have been intimately involved with the plant design. Hate to say 'I told you so' but we would all be a huge amount richer if GR had gone for a JV with a more experienced outfit and with Prem being the junior partner.

As for Stark - yes they did 'shoot the lights out' but not in a good way and GR is still floundering in the dark.

I'd say that the odds have shifted and that current shareholders might lose out significantly if he can't make good progress in the next month or so.

Well - GR has never got there with anything for the last 10 years... it will be a first!

Have to say that I agree with Acker. Video commentary is vague and it all could just be an attempt to get a rally in the sp. GR didn't say whether the plant had been running for days or hours - he only said 'some time'. I'm guessing it has been hours. We need an RNS to confirm exactly what the progress is, what the volumes and grades are and what will be shipped in May.

I'm hoping that the sun setting behind the plant isn't a sign!!

Yes, Eagleeye - that's what I'm expecting. Get through phase 2 and then a funding announcement. Interesting couple of weeks ahead.

I'm afraid that Martinigirl has called it right on Prem for over a year now. I can't argue with that record. If she's making money as a result, well done her!

As for the radio silence, it is very concerning and there must be something significant happening. GR should really come clean and let the market know - he shouldn't be withholding critical information. But this is what you get with GR and Prem - I would not be surprised at all if GR announces something regarding Mutate (don't look there, look here!) before we get the bad news about Zulu. Very, very disappointing!

Next ChemX's position is not a surprise - there's been enough indications that they're not a multi-billion profit making company!

I agree, MrT - this isn't going bust and I'm hoping/expecting to see the sp rise again next week if they get through the next gateway.

I also think that there are more deals to be done. Very interesting times for such a minnow of a company.

Wullie14 - last time I looked this was a discussion board where a variety of views can be published. The worst people are those who will post positive comments regardless... does more damage I'd suggest. Nothing wrong with people expressing different views... in fact, that's what makes this interesting!

As for the lack of news - it's not good but par for the course where GR's concerned. I still have faith that there's plenty of sc6 that can be produced by this plant eventually BUT it's getting more and more costly in terms of time and money and interest. Have to say that I'm getting concerned about GR's ability to see this through to production and our Chinese friends may well be playing the long game, waiting for GR to run out of road.

The news that I'm expecting is confirmation that CLON are still in the race... that would be good news. It would be even better news if we found out that some companies had fallen by the way side.

Apologies, rebel100, I was led to believe that there was potentially a support package available from the EU (don't know where I picked that up from) and was thinking that any indication that they were providing that would be a signal that CLON were progressing to the next stage. At the very least, EU officials would want to be greasing the wheels to get European companies on the list of licencees.

If the sp is going to increase in the way that the majority of us hope then the start is of that shift is going to be now - that's not a ramp. It's very simple - news is expected soon and in the run up to that news, people will start buying hoping to make some cash... whether they hold long term is another matter.

There's huge potential here - CLON may get 1 or more licences or they may not but they appear to have a unique relationship with the BOL authorities which counts for something. The EU angle is likely to benefit CLON as well. DH seems to have done a good job making all these connections and I think will have a strong case to put forward to the BOL authorities. I guess some bidders will be knocked out come 9th May - if CLON are still in then we should see a significant re-rate. I'm hopeful!
