I guess that I agree that this can go either way at this stage but I've taken the view that holders will still hold a decent chunk of Cine once the restructuring has taken place. Every ch11 is different in my book and CINE is already on a recovery course and this year's slate is way stronger than last year. I think Mooky will do everything that he can to delay any deal because he's confident that things will look way better and this puts him in a stronger position to negotiate. I might have this wrong but I don't envisage all of Cine's debt being eradicated in the restructuring either which, I think, will help in relieving some of the pressure to dispose of existing shareholders.
As long as we can keep some level of ownership of the restructured CINE, we'll do very well. Added to that, the prospect of someone coming in to buy a restructured CINE with a strong balance sheet and in a recovering market is looking tasty.
