The Divi is guaranteed up to October 2025

Its a pity they didnt sell out of RWS years ago. I would use that money to buy back our own shares which they might announce on June 24 (final results)

Trek/ I see no reason why they should cut the Divi although i would like to see them pay no Dividend. I would like to see the money stay in the business.

JDF7/ Im not a trader but i bought and sold this before and made a few bob. Like you i bought back in just under £7 and i bought more of it on the way down to £3. My average now is 490p. Ive now got way too much of this and will top slice around £6. To be fair to the management the switch from active to passive has decimated the whole sector. Im still 50/50 on whether i will get my money back.

If the results are good you can forget about 400p. We will be over a fiver.

The one remaining will be gone soon. I expect the SP to rise the closer we get to the Ex Divi date, which should be in July. They are probably hanging on for the results in a few weeks time.

JDF/ i cant see 20+ ever coming back, interest rates would have to go down to zero but who knows. I can see us going back to £10 with interest rates at 3% and active funds back in vogue.

I cant see this going anywhere until we see inflows by ii. LIO is strong in small cap(AIM). High interest rates have killed off AIM. With ii choosing to use passive index funds( which normally focus on the main index), we have been beaten up. If /when ii switch back into active managed funds this will double in an heartbeat.

Ephe/ They did say the dividend was covered for 18 months. They have the cash, if they cut the divi now they would lose credibility. Outflows were slowing, i like the management they know what they are doing.

Pharmaceuticals have always been considered to be "defensive" safe and boring, a "old boys" stock. By top slicing, adding and the divi, i hope to make 10% a year. ,i sold my Haleon shares and put it in this,it now looks like it will be bought out by Unilever

Ten years ago our SP was 1455p. Ok we have had the dividends. The only people that as made big money is our directors. So how are we ripping people off. Pharma companies reinvest in R+D. If governments want the best medicines going forward they have to cut pharma some slack.

The degression in the price of the drugs shouldnt affect us. Apparently the "middle men" like CVS will take the hit, they are all down today.

No, nothing to do with the dividend, all pharma is up. Apparently the market thinks the pharma companies can make up the loss in the US by charging the rest of the world more

Dandanman/ She fought off a group of activists about a year ago, when she split the business. It could be worse. im sure it will be ok in the end.
