City/ they have confirmed the 50p divi thats a given. Im holding because i think interest rates are on the way down and money will come back into the funds.

This hurts me writing this. I put £84K into Avesoro a small West African gold miner when gold was $1100. It had disaster after disaster and got taken private by Turks. I ended up getting £42K back. My strategy was right just picked the wrong stock. It was my biggest loser. I cant complain ive had some great winners. Even with the decline in the last few months, ive compounded at an average of 19% over the last 10 years.I hold no gold but i do have cash in case of a crash

Trump will blink first with the China tariffs. Bessant is back tracking, China have not said a word when it comes to negotiation. Trump is getting so much stick from businesses over tariffs, wait until the american people start paying more for goods. I would say there is a 60/40 chance of a market crash, no wonder Gold is going through the roof.

China and Russia are not democracies. They are birds of a feather ,bed mates. They hate the spread of democracies because with social media its harder to control their own people. With the Wests embargo on Russian oil, China is getting oil dirt cheap they want the war to go on as long as possible.

We have many R+D centres in the US and the US will still be a big market for us. This is a testing time but to be a successful investor you need the right temperament. You need to control your emotions and have the patience to ride out these times.

At these levels GSK is a strong buy, I have over 65K shares and im still buying. The world needs world class pharmaceutical companies. We have world class research centres like Oxford. We are going through turbulence but i believe we will come out stronger ,developing more in India ,China and emerging markets

Its in the interests of the EU to have a "soft trade" deal with the UK, There are only a few major players in the EU and we were one of them, they miss us big time. The trade deal with the US will be signed in a few weeks. The finances of our country are more important then politicians playing politics.

It was obvious Trump was going to be bolder this time around. He made that clear before the election and the american people voted for that so we cant complain. Our problem is what effects America affects the whole world. Because he has surrounded himself with yes men, there is no one to rein him in. The Bond market had to do it last week. He takes no notice of the media or opinion polls. He does take notice of the stock market, he is desperate to cut interest rates. There is only one man stopping him and that is Jerome Powell its going to be interesting to see what happens. If it was in China or Russia, Jerome would have a fatal accident

Its ironic the US enticed the German scientists after the war, now they are going back the other way. I did business with americans for years ,i also have members of my family from the states. The truth is the US has been gripped by political sectarianism since Trumps first term. Many have had enough and gone to New Zealand. We need a left and a right wing just like a bird needs them to fly. I vote SDP we are like Millwall we hate everyone!!

The US is a big player but the world doesnt revolve around it. In my opinion the tariffs will send the US into recession. Trump will probably say its "short term pain for long term gain".

Denby/ you sometimes see these prices but there not there, anyone buying at 12.64 did well. Many years ago i bought at £11, over the years ive top sliced and added many times. i cant see me ever selling out of it. I only live 3 mile from the HQ. I know 2 people who work there.

Your getting a 4.6% divi and the cheaper the SP the more shares you get, so if your buying to hold, no problem

Denby/ My guess is ,if we get a market crash ,it could go under £11, A lot of bad news is already priced in and we could get some good news, if deals are done May ,June and July are normally good months for the SP. Also Pharma is defensive so if we get a recession we should be ok. It wouldnt surprise me to see a £16 SP in July

Win/ im on loads of stuff and the expiry dates are all in 2027. Deals will be done long before expiry dates and stockpiles run out. All this was planned as soon as he won the election. He had them all at the White House. I dont feel sorry for the likes of GSK , big businesses have deep pockets ,i feel sorry for small businesses who cant afford to stockpile. In fact there is a group of small businesses from California suing Trump.

Stockpiling as been going on for months in everything, Apple have imported millions of phones from China. The CPI index has fallen through the floor in the US. It looks like they are going into recession and we will follow. I only hope we start cutting interest rates aggressively.

ARM/The one positive from all this is the drop in the PoO,,it hurt Russia. China/India wants the war to go on, they are getting all that cheap oil,

We have the results in June when they will tell us the dividend date. It will probably go ex dividend in July.

Win/i dont think Trump is trying to drive a wedge between the UK and the EU. The EU got the 20% tariff because of their imbalance of trade with the US. Mainly due to Germanys engineering companies.
