Aim/i feel AIM is more a "stock pickers" index and with the rise of "passive" funds the gap between AIM and the main index has got bigger, There are some extra costs and regulation in joining the 250 , like we will have to pay our management more. PETS pay their CEO over a £1M and we pay ours £600K with similar M/Caps. I can see the SP a lot higher with the CMA report in the rear view mirror.

The rise might have more to do with JUP then us ,they have made an acquisition. The market probably feels its the start of M+A in the sector

Is a fools game. For me this is a buy today, you get the 50p a share divi ,sure it will go down Ex Divi. How much who knows ,to be honest i dont care because i am betting it will come back. This is cheap its trading on 7x earnings, i also think sentiment is getting better, sentiment is a big deal

I attended the webinar yesterday(final results), the noise of the traffic in the Strand was a pain. No mention of M+A, they are bullish on the UK and small growth which they specialise in. They expect the US to calm down and a shift from passive to active investing.

Todays drop due to one of our major shareholders cutting by 1%

I dont fancy Impax at all. too much ESG for me. I would like us to marry up with ABDN. I suspect our management will tough it out, the balance sheet is ok. There will be mergers especially if interest rates stay higher for longer. If we do marry ourselves up with someone i like ,i will buy shares in the new. entity

Having that whopping divi put a lot of investors off as it implies the business is in trouble, 8% yield is better. Happy to hold now for a few years to see how it plays out.

We are now big enough to join the 250. We would have to meet greater rules and regulations but we would be in a far greater market. Many funds are not able to buy our shares in AIM. For me its a no brainer, if i get the chance i will ask the management a question at the next AGM. Even the likes of AMAZON and APPLE have had their ups and downs, we have had ours with the CMA report, going forward i am positive with plenty of growth down under.

Im getting a £55K divi payout on the 8 August, if the SP goes lower ,i will be able to bring my average down by buying more shares.

The volatility of the SP is expected in small caps. This is a recovery play, we know the problems that is why we are buying at these low prices. For me its the only way to get higher returns. Being a contrarian investor, averaging down. bringing your average down, is never easy but i find it plays off in the end.

Overall i am pleased ,no one knows what the future will bring but i am optimistic. What i like most is the management seem to have the interests of the shareholders at heart

Another short position went on yesterday. I cant understand it, if i was shorting i would wait until it goes EX Divi. They obviously feel the results will be bad. we havnt got long to wait

Im expecting, withdrawals declining, confirmation of the 50p Dividend and a buy back of shares. GLA

If they continue to pay 77p a share dividend for the next 4 years, you will get your money back in 4 years .I cant see them maintaining the dividend past October 2025 but i can see it still being around 8% and with lower interest rates, we should be OK. Sometimes Mr Market gives you an opportunity ,this is one of them.

Its difficult to judge the funds because the past losers are tomorrows winners. PMI SP topped out at about £3 now 70p. If things dont pick up soon i can see many small fund managers marrying themselves up.

The interest rate decision didnt help. We need a few cuts in interest rates to get this moving. Why take risk with the markets when you can get 4% risk free. This probably helps me by depressing the SP. i have my GSK dividend pay out on July10 and this dividend hopefully in August which is all going in this ,by then we should get some rate cuts and a uplift in sentiment.

PMI has been on my watch list for years, i would say they were similar. Looking at our funds i cant see why we need 3 people to look after funds with 47 holdings. With our 2 Technology Funds, one you need £250K to start and the other $500K. We do have a good reputation and im sure the management know what they are doing. Mark Slater(Slater Growth) who is no mug , is still holding.
