The trouble is only a few people really understands AI. We were told AI would benefit LSEG. This was only one analyst but i havnt heard anybody push back on it. We have had a 20% drop in a few weeks and not a peep from our CEO

Some analyst wrote a report suggesting AI will be negative for software companies, many are down ,its not only us. Why hasnt our CEO come out with a statement? I have just sold 20% of my holding

Yes ,your right it all depends on earnings. If the earnings improve so will the SP

404/ they have said the dividend will be cut. It should still be a good divi. Interest rates should be 3% by next year, which makes the divi look even better

Jcb/thats a real pain. i have that with my GSK divi, never gets paid until midday.

Ive just reinvested the dividend. Thats it now,ive made my last buy, my average is 460p. I have far too much of it. i will top slice at £6. GLA

I would love it to be under 350p next Friday. This will pay a good dividend hopefully for years to come. The SP will correct in time.

Well that was a "kick in the goolies". I missed it, i only read the CEOs report. The market has seen it coming, we are down 16% in the last year. I have no plans to sell any, also not adding.

Dave/if you feel that way you dont have to buy on 8 August, wait until it pulls back. In my mind, if the SP is under 370p i will buy. If its over i will wait until it pulls back but i never get these things right.

Lets hope it keeps falling until 8 August. This seems to be in a 350-370p range. Its now a waiting game, will the inflows come back?

I thought the days of under £100 were over, apparently not. I top sliced a few at £108 because i needed the money for something else. its now looking a good move. I dont lose any sleep holding LSEG. We have our results on Thursday. GLA

The problem is we have a government that pays" lip service" to investing. We have another 4 years of this nonsense.

Dave/I topped up today ,it will be interesting to see how much of the Divi is reinvested. I will be reinvesting my Divi, lowering my average. Even though the Divi will be cut, it should still be around 8%. Compounded over a few years ,it shouldnt take too long until i am in the blue .even if the SP stagnates.
