Pastabake/ you dont understand how buybacks work. They use buybacks to defend/stabilise the SP. In the last few weeks the SP has been rising so no need to buyback. For companies of our size its mainly to counteract the Shorters.

Aim/yeah i agree, it all depends on inflation. If the war ends in the Ukraine i can see an interest rate of 3% which i feel is healthy.

Cuts in interest rates will benefit us, lets hope todays drop is the first of many

Ftse/because i have so much of it(139K shares) I also said it could be my biggest loser. My bet is the outflows will stop. Ive been investing for 48 years, ive had 48 winners and 7 losers, only time will tell which pile this goes on.

I wont be topping up until the outflows stop. On paper this is my biggest loser ever, by a long way but it might turn out to be my biggest winner .Ive kept buying on the way down ,my average is 430p.

Buyback has started

Tamoshius/ it bottoms when the outflows stop. I watched the meeting, it looked like they were at a funeral. They are big shareholders so it affects them, so at least they are also feeling the pain.

Tomorrow at 9am we have the Half Year meeting.

I managed to get a few more at 277p, i never thought i would be buying at that price

Drusus/ The dividend will be 22p. 7p in January and 15p in August. As i see it ,there are two reasons why they do buybacks. The first is as you say its a way of increasing their pay the second is to stop the shorts. We are still being paid to own this with a good dividend. Lets hope the management are right and new business comes in.

Iron/ There are many undervalued AIM stocks like the 4 you mention. There are some places i dont go(pardon the pun), like travel and airlines. It depends on the amount of risk you are willing to take. I am happy with what im holding with a big lump of cash. If i was 30yrs old i would buy JEMA, because they have a lot in Russia and if/when the war is settled, they should do very well

Aim/it wouldnt worry me if i couldnt see the SP for 5 yrs. Im only interested in the fundamentals. To me buying these is like buying £1 coins for 60p. Can you imagine selling at these prices then in 3 years or less getting a Reform/Tory government which would probably abolish IHT. Patience is a must have in investing.

Iron/ i would love it to go down to £1 ,i would back up the truck. I know this is worth £15 all day long. I buy the company not the SP

Iron/the 10% i sold i bought back today. My average is 973p , i will not put new money in until/if it goes under my average. I have a ton of cash , i have no desire to spend it.

JG/the FT100 is up 1% today. I wouldnt say AIM is flying, far from it. This went down to the low eighties and it looks like its going back there. I am also holding RELX. There has been a pullback in software. Long term i have no worries
