It will result in a recession. When these tariffs kick in, it will affect earnings. The companies will cut jobs and inflation will be sky high. The airline booking from Canada to the US for this summer are already 70% down. Canadians have stopped buying US goods. All that money which as gone into the US market will come flying out.

Trumps expectations? He wants money from the tariffs and he also wants to bring jobs back home, he cant have both. We have business in Ireland but our HQ is in the UK. What peed Trump off are the Pharma companies who use Irelands cheap tax rates. You have to be headquartered in Ireland to get the cheap rate. Trump has kicked Ireland in the balls. ARMANI i bought some last week at this price. GSK is 40% undervalued but if the world goes into a recession/depression we will get a market crash.

Win/ Trump was born with a silver spoon ,hes not self made. His father taught him the business of basically borrowing money off the banks at a good rate and buying real estate at the right price, not exactly brain surgery. He has had his failures but its not where you start its where you finish and he is a billionaire so credit to him. Ive known hundreds of business men and many of them have had failures, two or three times before they have made it. its like a lot of show biz people who say it took them 20 years to become a "overnight success". He is a great communicator. I like Musk i think he is a genius ,he says inappropriate things maybe due to a medical condition. He is fearless which i like. Trump and Musk do not take a wage and i believe they are not doing this out of self interest. I just think what Trump is doing with tariffs is wrong,in my opinion the US will suffer the most

Win/trust me you wouldnt want to live under russian rule. You dont get refugees trying to get into Russia or China,its the EU.UK and US they want to go to. Win/ive been to the Ukraine many times Kyiv, Crimea ,Odesa and the Donetsk. In Crim and the Donetsk they still have statues of Stalin and Lenin which says it all. In my opinion Russia would take no notice of China. The way to stop the war is to allow the Ukraine to join NATO. Sure it would risk escalation but you have to stop bullies like Putin. The only concession i would allow Russia is they would have use of the airport and naval base in Sevastopol.

Nick/i cant remember the EX DIVI date but the dividend was paid out in August last year, We are due an update next week, they will probably give us the dividend dates then ,the 50p is guanranteed after that the market has priced in a cut
