I think the market is losing sight of what is important here:

NCYT is a success story and making shedloads of revenue/profit.

The irrational vagaries of the SP seems to be in no relation to that. Covid stocks are affected by current sentiment regardless of if they have even sold any product yet (ODX , AVACTA....REALLY? are we compared with those ...they haven't sold ANY tests...it is a JOKE)

THIS weeks sentiment seems to be..... Yes Omicron is coming but it is very mild. SELL Covid stocks....Really !!!

Firstly, we don't even know the actual facts yet. BUT even if Omicron is milder than Delta (great lets hope so for us all) TESTING is still the crucial . Testing isn't going to drop off a clip any time soon, In fact testing is at an all time high and will remain so regardless if Omicron is more/less/ transmittable/ virulent.

I am expecting a big announcement from NCYT any time soon and a BIG re-rate.

I think £7 is fair value right now regardless of new news and DHSC resolution.

Wariness of testing dropping off a cliff any time soon has hampered true value since the start of the pandemic.
That was 18months ago. Probably still be thinking the same thing a year from now by which time NCYT could have £200m in the bank.(if they choose not to make another acquisition before then)

I think PCR tests are going to peak at an all time high in the next few weeks/ months.

NCYT are in prime position. They got the best products, they got a world wide reach.

I am a bit surprised we haven't been taken over by now.

Testing isn't going away for years. Big revenue streams to come.

Hey Kaeren. Yes I see I get your point. The gov guideline are TEMPORARILY different for Delta and Omicron.

But we all know Omicron WILL become the new norm and the Delta variant will fade away.

I am not sure that knowing what the variant is helps much.

A more transmittable variant tends to become the dominant variant.

We have been worried about each NEW variant since the start of the pandemic. The current DELTA variant was seen as particularly alarming but TESTING wise we by and large in the general population simply test for Covid.

Nobody says. " i've just tested positive, but it's no problem it's only the ALAPA variant. "

I don't think they will be able to make product fast enough to makes a huge difference to this years guidance, but
Jan, Feb, March will surely be very strong revenue wise.

Short term at the very least is looking very good for NCYT

I have never been able to understand the concept of GAP filling.

Can someone explain WHY a gap needs to be filled? What is the rationale? Do trading algorithms now ALSO use that as a reason for buying selling?

For example, a steady company trading along nicely issues a mega RNS at 7am outlining a billion£ deal that will transform the company. At 8am the opening price is WAY above the closing........So why on earth would it HAVE to at some point close the gap back to the previous close !!?

Hmm.... a ten minute PCR test would be nice.
Multiple NCYT Q machines in soon to be 40 regional testing centres would be nice. Pop in locally to get a Gold standard PCR in ten mins.

A share can trend for sometime with a high RSI when it is in a bullish trend. We have only just started here !!

BUT regardless of that you are correct the RSI is 82% on the one year chart, however if you look at other time frames it is well within the 30-70 range. Try looking at the 1 day chart, the 5 day chart or the 5 year chart.
