Pooled tests would have been a game changer. You could have had pooled testing in every school at relatively low cost.

The school nurse could test classes on a pooled regime. One class tests positive and then you quarantine the class , then test every child in THAT class individually until you see who is OK to not isolate.

It's not rocket science, and, is shocking at the lack of a simple common sense approach that would have had a major beneficial effect on outcomes.

Testing peaked in Jan 2021 so we still got that to come this Jan.

The UK, though having left the EU, is part of the European region.

The announcement of the new anti viral pill is very welcome. But it is by no means a complete solution.

It is an expensive drug and will only not doubt only be given after TESTING to make sure you got COVID.

I really can only think that NCYT are as busy as they have ever been and will remain so well into next year.

Well some NHS hospitals couldn't deal with the first generation testing regime.

NCYT bring out Promate to vastly improve the work flow. It was very well received.

Now we have Co prep to additionally automate the liquid handling .

Can't really make the process much easier now. Quick, labour saving, accurate. Excellent.

The tests require "desktop validation" only.

There must be a huge pile of of backlogged paperwork waiting for someone to work through them.

Companies missing out must be extremely frustrated. At least we got Promate !

That's all it is. BUT you have got to accept the consequences of your actions by investing large sums of money in risky stocks.(AIM)
I have been there. Done that.
Just to end on a lighter note though. I do think NCYT will come good. It is CURRENTLY a very successful diagnostics company that is on track to make £100m revenue this year. That is VERY impressive. If next years guidance is anywhere near that then the sp should be a least £7.

Why did you buy shares in a company like NCYT when you did? Your judgement is clearly poor. Stop whinging on or move on.

It does seem odd that arbitration could take this long. Surely an independent arbiter could have sorted the mess out ages ago.

If a compromise position is being drawn up between the Gov and NCYT that keeps both parties happy and ensures a longer term relationship with even more embedding within the NHS and community testing an out of the blue announcement to that effect would do wonders for the sp with a genuine re-rate to something more like fair value.

The acquirer would have to build a stake of 30% before making an offer. That would surely affect the sp upwards
as it would be fairly obvious.

Be handy being able to read the contract. Did anyone ever keep a copy?

Hey ChrisToffer, Is it also not the case that the contract stated that goods returned under warranty could be replaced with new product.

This implies NO monetary refund at all. So if, worst case scenario, the case goes completely against NCYT the worst case would be 129-40m =89m. So £89m worth of product to be replaced at whatever that cost to NCYT would be (say £20m?)

Be interesting to see what the new CEO's Long term incentive plan is.
Will it be based on profit/revenue/share price?

I am hoping we will get a mission statement from him soon so we can get an idea of where he is taking the company, and where we might be in the short, medium and long term.

Covid surging in UK. Covid surging in Germany. Two of our biggest markets.

PCR testing is much higher in UK now than it was this time last year.

I suspect revenues are booming. Has it been kept low key so the new CEO can get a very positive start.

The markets must react soon. Is today the start??

Be nice to get a statement from the new CEO outlining his vision for where he sees NCYT going.
Be great if he is inclined to take us off AIM and list on the Nasdaq....he has the experience !!!
