When persimmon did just shy of 15k houses it was mental at work and the lack of skilled tradesmen was ridiculous. I cant see where the trades would come from even for 16k houses in a year.

The government is never going to help get 300k houses built unless they have someway of increasing the workforce lots. I don't think foreign workers would cut is as obviously there are plenty that are capable of doing the work but their own countries will need them and with being out of europe is it even worth the grief for foreign workers.

also the british people have a stigma with foriegn workers and I'm not sure people would want them in their homes if their work had to be put right.

I’d bet money on it that Persimmon push for more than 10500 homes this year

Debvy, I don’t have to know what stocks you own in a global crash as they all drop and trading has nothing to do with it either. If I had known as you predict a global crash was going to happen I would sell every I own and buy back in on the drop.

Proper big drop on a lot of stocks. If you have the money spare it’s a good time to buy into lots of companies

Christofer, good call on this going over £16 now if there is a rate drop and a good trading update this will start going up nicely.

We will see what this brings to the table when they announce a trading update tomorrow, Should we of sold more today or is this just the start of the rise.

Trying to trade some and selling out are two totally different things. I don’t mind trading the amount I sold but I would never take a chance on my whole holding.

I have no thoughts on selling mine until this is in the twenties. I’m happy to wait it out and take the smallish dividend and top up more here. I could sell out now and buy into phnx, Mng and Lgen and have a dividend income of £24k but I want more hence me waiting.

Hopefully there is a reduced or stopped share buy back and the money is used to reduce the debt that has built up.
