Well I wasted my good opportunity as I had £34k on Friday and I definitely bought too early

Over the years I have seen you predict some low prices in lots of shares with everyone doubting your charting but they nearly always come true.

But how much are they up with their short on shell.

Does anyone know roughly when the next declaration date is for dividend payment? Just curious if this one is when're going to increase the dividend and pay down some of its debt instead of continuing buybacks.

Looks like the Trump tarrifs are going to start some interest rate cuts this year, I read an article yesterday that was saying Trump and Buffet orchestrated the market crash to force lower interest rates and lower the debt bill for the USA

Just worked it out and I have took a 5% hit jumping into Bp to early, But I watched it for a while and was confident on the price I bought at. Persimmon was£12.26 and holding so didn't expect their big drop..

1.Armani. I bought in too early but I'm not overly bothered as I jumped in when I saw it drop to £3.89 and its still a good price to be in on BP.

Well with BP having a big drop today I have just put £34k into BP. Let’s see if it would of been better to stay with house builders

Yesterday was a bad day to sell so I hope you sold the day before? I sold £20k in the £12.11 range to get ready to move into my ISA but when I saw the share drop into the mid £11’s I bought them back again.

I have a year to move them over so not missing an opportunity to gain more shares

Won’t it end up higher than 10%. As if you buy something from Europe now it gets 20% tax added then about 10% duty and a handling fee of around £10 where as before leaving Europe none of those fees would of been added.

In reality it makes buying from other countries not worth it.

I’m always adding as funds allow, but I believe it’s a definite long term recovery to double your money.

I got that timing wrong, I stupidly thought we were averaging around the bottom so chucked £20k in at the closing bell on Friday, It’s now down in the 83p range which I wasn’t expecting.

No matter only a month for a good rise.

Will this share remain low until the prelinianry results come in for this half year so people actually know how much of an affect the NIS rises have made to card or is it already baked in??

Will May 7th be the shares turning point? Either way we all know as long as the final dividend is in line with last years payment that the share will be rising a little more come EX day.

Christofer, Sounds like a plan but you could of also just bought today at the lower price and sell at your entry price in hopefully a month and have more money than the dividend

Well I’m not buying anymore till 1st April and I’m considering a pint on Vistry since they are £5.75. For all their troubles the share does appear to rise at the same pace as the other house builders

Just checked TW share price now and it’s £1.07 so would have definitely been a bad move to buy in as I was thinking of doing it around £1.12 and it was £1.15’ish on Wednesday. It’s still far too much of a drop for a dividend even from £1.1

Didn’t buy any as the share price had rose nearly 4p from when I first considered it and that’s virtually the dividend. Plus persimmons next dividend is two thirds of its value so wanted to be sure I’m ok here.

I bought back in yesterday for £11,89 then was wanting to sell again before lunch but when I looked it was £12.04 and I thought it would rise more but it didn’t. Looking at the price now I should of still sold again.

Well it’s a pivotal day for a lot of shares as how badly is labour going to hurt them? One saving grace is inflation was down to 2.8%.

I’m waiting to see what happens with retail before I decide to put £20k into card factory.
