It does feel like it's taking a lot longer than expected by most, but why might that be the case?
As many have opined, if it was a deal for a couple of £bn, it would have been done and dusted quite quickly. Maybe it's taking longer because it's a big figure / bidding war.
The alternative, I guess, is that the offer isn't big enough, but again, that would have been dealt with surly?
Maybe the deal is going to be very complex if it happens.
All my own opinion mind, only time will tell

Fair value deal will likely be 70p - 150p IMO, if there is a strategic bidding war, then you might get to the higher figures.
Given the length of time it's taking, I'll cross my fingers for the latter

I'd hope we would see £1 a share, but anything over 50p would be a decent profit in where we are today

I'd take your point if not for the RNS the following day stating he had a major cash call and sold them all to the same buyer.

I disagree. The RNS that caused the drop has been somewhat clarified. The siuation is back to where we were at 4pm yesterday.

A strange comment. I have asked a poster to provide some justification behind the figure they claim to be priced in by the market. What I think the price may be is not part of the discussion, nor have I ever disclosed a price (to my best recollection)

You say that a lot these days it seems. You may be right, you may be wrong, but at least back it up with a reason
