Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
RichKen,
2 great shouts here, both quality co’s with POC saliva test capabilities.
I can’t get it out of my mind that we are a takeover candidate. After listening to Danahers Q1 webcast (45mins well worth a listen), they need to head off a threat to their offering and to prop up devastated other income streams (some reducing by 20% Q2), just raised £5bln + new m & a biased CEO, is my bet.
We need, as independent shareholders, to get organised to see any threat off.
If we elect a clown, we will get a circus....
Now watch this....

Avacta Results & update 7.00am BST 6th May 2020.
Couldn’t get any closer, Coincidence??
Hotel room numbers:
USA 1.1 billion guest nights annually (5 million hotel rooms)
UK 750,000 hotel rooms.
1 test per guest per night....
Rich ken,
Thanks for your posts, just to add to your list,
Hotels, b&b’s etc.
I am not sure I would want to stay in a room that has just been given a 15 wipe down, if there has not been a daily full screening of all staff, contractors, guests.
The list goes on....millions of POC 10 min instant tests, every day!!
With all the guests & crew.
Thank you to stringdog in another place for this. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/04/22/coronavirus-saliva-tests-could-be-as-accurate-or-better-than-nasal-swabs-yale-researchers-say.html
From what I can gather, saliva is loaded with the virus, hence so easily spread by coughing, sneezing and even talking. That’s why this one is so nasty.
this May be old news on here but read this. Avacta all the way!! BOOM.

BRILLIANT. Just used for the first time the filter option on the scum shorters.
It’s all gone quiet, thank you all who recommended it.
PAH, Good plan. Going to be an exciting week!
PAH, You May have to get into AVCT quicker than your proposed timetable.
1. results / shareholder update is in only 6 trading days time!!
2. Danaher results/update 5 trading days time
3. Rns possible this week re other collaborations.
4. Rns possible this week confirming transferring affirmers to Cytiva.
So the share price may have already left the stable.
Totally agree, have a good evening
Minnabo, I share your opinion on £2.50/share, but unfortunately the decision may not be ours to make. Institutions call the shots!
Just musing, if someone came in with a say an early £500m offer (£2.50/ share approx) would it get approval? Think it just might get support.
It could be a good fit (or worth keeping from competitors) for quite a few big pharma co’s worldwide. A relatively small early gamble on their part, or wait for a bidding war to start, with no guarantee of success.
True, but an early offer just may be too tempting.
Your right just weekend fun, business starts Monday morning!
Confounded, good spot.
It certainly fits, the timings of the recent subscription, appointment of new joint brokers, announcement of Cytiva link + subsequent releases.
Alistair is certainly tuned in to corporate value of biotech stocks, re Yorkshire post, and having lived & worked in USA, knows their appetite for risk. As you also say new brokers have history in new placings.
However, takeover soon is my bet.
