Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Richken, Thanks for all your posts and insight. If I remember correctly you hinted at a Abingdon tie up many months back, but are too modest to mention.
All the very best & GLA.
Webb industries inc advertising heavily to gear up their covid 19 LFT manufacturing capabilities. LOTS of shift jobs being generated. Looks like they will be working 24/7 in the near future.
They don't have their own test, so it will be for a 3rd party ( Avacta/Cytiva possibly?). Do we know of any other covid 19 LFT test manufacturing currently being ramped up?
Based near Boston USA, very near BBI/ABINGDON/CYTIVA.
From their web site:
"Start a new career in Medical Manufacturing!
Our Holliston, MA, facility is producing COVID-19 diagnostic tests, and we’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team. Enjoy great benefits, hiring bonuses, shift flexibility, and on-the-job training”
Hopefully this trial is in combination with Avacta’s jv. We then get an early indication of Affimers in humans, things moving fast.

Could be for AVCT?
Nice video of the production process
Independent producer of LFD, USA. Ideal for Avacta

USA. Boston MA. LFD manufacturing capacity. Web industries.
Looking further at LFD Independent Manufacturing in capabilities US, this lot jump out.
Based near Boston close to Cytiva and BBI, would be an ideal American partner.
From their web site:
Located within our Boston, MA, facility, the Lateral Flow Center of Excellence is our one-stop manufacturing solution that offers a reliable path from small-scale test development to high-volume commercialization of new LFI devices. Purpose-built for automated reel-to-reel medical device production, it features an in-house biochemistry lab, reagent deposition, LFI strip manufacturing, device assembly, and packaging.

Think we also worth noting that Avacta own and control the test, so biggest portion of the pie.
+ RADx in USA
+ Punters on BB debating on little snipers of info, not too seriously.
+ MM & co on twitter
BBI. Are a quality outfit and are a great partner to have at this stage of the test development.
However, their capacity is limited (approx 1m/mth), we will be talking to and booking capacity with the major world wide players, Danaher, Abbott, Webb, lg ++ etc in order to get anywhere near to meeting the world wide volume of tests needed (in the timescales required).
Re : Issued shares to a service provider:
This looks to me to be of a size that would be allocated to the scientists at the Tomlinson Labs at Leeds Uni. (too small & unorthodox for it to be Cytiva). They seem to be working as the R & D arm of Avacta, with the senior members of the team all holding shares in AVCT.
They pre-published a exciting paper in June/July, regarding the possible future use of Affimers.
This could be part of their reward.
Exciting times. GLA.
Multiple tests per week per person at home.....
Available within a couple of months.....
Well said Doggy.
Rkhaghi, Looks like Milton have stopped selling for the moment. Buying pressure increasing......
Right up Avacta's Street!!! Great podcast
Does anyone else think we are part of the Daewoong Indonesian mesenchymal stem cell human trial (ref Korea Biomedical Review 6/7/20).
It seems to fit in with the recent RNS 29/7/20 aims and the stated cytokine target for part of the 38m raised 4/6/20?
Also would explain the sitting on the hands re AVA6000.
If so it is another master stroke from the Company, human trials at no cost or risk.
This week we had news that Avacta is on the UK gov CONDOR programme for the BAMS test, and in the pipeline hint for the LFD.
We have not yet been informed how Adeptrix are getting on in the USA prototype testing of the BAMS test (ref RNS 9th June). We were doing UK, they were doing USA.
This re-tweet may be hinting that Adeptrics BAMS test is now at a similar point in the USA with RADx, as we are in the UK with CONDOR.
The LFT also might be in a similar position in the USA as it is here in the UK, a step behind the BAMS test.
I like the fact that we are with Cytiva for the LFT (US) they should be able to cut and accelerate the test through the labyrinth of red tape in USA for early validation.
GLA.
Yesterday HEMO, released their RNS announcing their USA tie up @ 3.13pm(BST) all of their other trading sensitive releases have been at 7.00am.
Could this be similar for AVCT this week, or even today.?.
Integumen offices next door to Abingdon Health? Coincidence? Al must have just popped in on the off chance!!
Article in the Guardian, cases suffering mild symptoms risk brain disorders. The herd immunity theory has repercussions!
The thing that baffles me is why the MM’s did not let it run this evening, for about 10 mins towards the close there was a 129-130 spread, they would Sell @ 130 any amount, but NT buy, even 10 shares.
Any thoughts?
Great post Wiggly, thank you
