Stringer back in June it was said that we would get the bank approvals by Oct. THAT HAPPENED AS PROMISED. It was in the 6th November RNS. Both banks, and all the other syndicate members have approved this deal.

IT IS A DONE DEAL, AND HAS BEEN SINCE THE END OF OCT!!!

All we are waiting for is some admin at the EGs end to sort out ratify the AFC Establishment Agreement, which will make it legal for AFC to sign the contract (admin process that is already in place for TDB). The aim is to get this sorted in Q4, as it has been for a while. "Bits" (ie bank approvals!) in Oct, and full thing done and dusted by Q4.

Hubstar, I completely agree with that. KEFI will be issuing dividends and pouring gold and the naysayers on here will still be calling it fake news or HAA bs.

All we have to do is look to the 6th November RNS, which was absolutely transformational in terms of de-risking, yet the FUDsters went into over-drive because there's still a bit of simple admin to do before pen is put to paper. With any other company, that would have been enough to have sent the sp rocketing, but the chicken-littles have such a grip on KEFI sentiment that instead a narrative of "Harry's moved the goal-posts" was pumped, causing enough uncertainty to make the market think that this maybe isn't a done deal.

It's all irrelevant anyway, because within a number of weeks we will have AFC ratification sorted, and the full syndicate putting pen to paper of definitive detailed documentation. Following that I am looking forward to the photos of major works commencing (which LSE will no-doubt claim to be AI generated lol) and KEFI going mining.

Not long to wait now, and I expect the re-rate to be epic. Dividends of 0.5p per share, just round the corner.

Personally I see it a disappointing for our long-term (10 year+) prospects, but excellent news for the shorter term.

I am really surprised that the traders haven't picked up on this yet - it is an obvious and easy 1p (200%) onto the sp within the next six months max, with further additional upside being that there is now zero chance of another raise, and the additional likelihood of sorting finance within a month and seeing an additional 500%-1000% upside.

At 0.5p I literally cannot see any down-side risk for KEFI. Even if some black-swan event wiped out TK, SA is already worth more than 0.5p per share! Even if the market doesn't appreciate the full de-risked value of TK, we're still going to rerate to at least 2p as an absolute minimum, plus SA being an additional 1p onto the share price.

That's an easy minimum of 600% in six months.

Fukutu, it is £6m of free cash to keep KEFI PLC going until sale of SA assets.

Going forward KEFI's cash burn will drastically drop. There will be no more spent on SA, and KME will be picking up all the Ethiopia costs. KEFI PLC will soon have £50m-£100M cash in the accounts, with next to zero burn.

The funding coming through will go directly to TKGM and the local equity will go to KME, but KEFI PLC could easily provide professional services, exploration services, etc. to these subsidiaries to extract money to PLC level if needs be.

I think most people would agree that (baring a major acquisition) we have seen the last ever KEFI placement!

Feels to me like right now is thee perfect time to load up on KEFI.

Hopefully going into the hands of LTH. Its and easy 10%-20% in a month trade at the minute, as a blind man on a galloping horse can now see that we've bottomed out.

I think that most sane people would agree that TKGM no very much a question of when, not if.

It might be 50:50 as to whether we see finance signed off within the next two weeks, but it's more like 95/5 that TK will be in production within 5 years.

The Ethiopian House of People's Representatives is sitting today. There is every chance that they get to ratification of AFC country membership.

An RNS to confirm that at 4:35pm this evening would be a nice treat for any shorters :-D

The most you can lose is 100%, with 1,000% plus to be gained. More realistically the two sides of the coin are 1,000% returns by Dec/Jan, or worst case you have to wait another 6 months.

Shortarm, I did the same. I ended up paying 0.53, but you don't have to be a genius to realise that within a week or two this will be back to a minimum of 0.55p, with potential for news to come in and the sp re-rating to 5p+.

To make a £13k loss on a 23% drop, that must have been a £55k investment? How sickened will you be if you make a £13k loss in a day and then make a further £half a million loss by missing out on the re-rate lol

That is horrible decision making lol. Why would you sell your shares just after a placing!? Even if nothing changes, once the negative 'post-harry-is-a-c**t-placing' negativity abates, then the sp will be back to a minimum of 0.6p.

PS taking your own advise, then now would actually be a fairly smart place to buy in. You can't sell high if you don't buy low.

Burgeseb, that is one of the most pathetic and obvious attempts I've seen on here to spread FUD. I am absolutely convinced now that there is a coordinated effort going on to shake holders and dissuade new investors. What other reason could there be for posting complete nonsense like this. I can kind of rationalise when somebody continually posts negativity if it has any basis in reality, or even if it is just an opinion, but burgereb your post is hilariously wrong so there is no way that it is designed to be anything other than an attempt to suppress the sp.

All we are waiting for is an admin exercise by the EG to ratify AFC. Also, a 'gold mining company' is already involved. PW Mining is part of the syndicate with decades of experience mining in West Africa.

I agree with that. KEFI have made their statement on the newspaper. Lets see KEFI focus on TK, and investors not get shaken by nonsense.

Magnacarta keeps banging on about the dry season. What are the consequences? As I understand it there are three months of wet-season (July to Sep). I understand that it would have been nice to have commenced works in Oct, but I don't see it as a massive deadline or understand what the consequences are of starting in Jan/Feb as opposed to Nov/Dec?

This is a multi-year construction, so we're still going to straddle 2+ wet-seasons regardless of when we commence.

House of Peoples Representatives of FDRE sits tomorrow. This is the house that will formally ratify AFC.

Upshunt. How would you see it negatively impacting KEFI? Anybody of any influence regarding TK will clearly know (or easily discover) that it is not true.

The article is designed (prob by the anonymous source) to shake share-holder confidence. It would be sad to see battle wearied LTHs sell shares to new buyers at 0.5p, only to watch the sp 10x within a few months, but ultimately inconsequential to KEFI.

Fantasy, realistically how long do you think would be typical to buy a mine as distressed asset and assemble $320m worth of investment? Personally my experience of it is typically ten years from discover to mining, and that is with a fair wind and in a safe jurisdiction (not necessitating changes in legislation, civil war, etc). I actually don't know if anybody else could have did anything quicker or better.

The problem with KEFI is that they need to keep enticing investors with "jam tomorrow", who then can the rinse with dilution to keep the lights on. It sucks to be one of those investors, but the worst thing that you could do is to take all that pain, and then sell your shares to somebody else who is going to come in at the 11th hour, buy significantly under-value, and ride the 10x rerate wave that was paid for by you!

It's of no real consequence to KEFI, and KEFI will not incur and damages due to the story. The only people that story will hurt will be any investor who decides to sell their holding under-value, because of the nonsense in that article. You continuing to spread it, makes you just a culpable.

Upshunt. KEFI is my focus, for at least the next six months. Following the 6th Nov RNS (which I can't believe didn't rock the KEFI sp!!) I have invested significantly in KEFI, hugely averaging down. The rest of my investments are boring and safe, with no need to discuss or even bother watching too closely.

Now your turn - do you even hold KEFI shares? Or is it on your 'to-do' list, right after you have spread as much FUD as possible to get that sp as low as you can before buying in and getting all the benefit which was destined for any investors that you persuaded to see out early?
