agreed - but then why are no II loading, and no big buys going into results day if so distressed/ under valued

litreally - we are back to the SP 5 days ago (ATL) - bet Nasdaq aint

good points Hoasi - if ingenuity money had been taken, SP would never have been this low so we wouldnt have been given opp to load + agree with Cult that SB paid for it :)

that aside, I have no faith whatsoever in Mouldy as he doesnt follow through with what he says (didnt even take it private which he hinted at so much in GQ)

i think he is a BS Charlie (who buys and gifts shares away - it just looks mental) and i also think ingenuity commerce is a red herring. I do however think beauty and mypro are good business units, and I do believe in the Lord esp after his buy of shares

i see peleton founders have been ousted today - I think it would be best to get in a career CEO to turn this boat plus better divisional CEOs (like they have done for Ingneuity)

yeah fair point Goldenyears - your point on having as many sites as possible to dillute capex is a solid one, esp with all the recent loses (Neales Yard and PZ CUzzons +hotel choc struggles)

its got to a point where the mid year dont really matter - SP is so low a % drop down in terms of absoulte value is small, and conversely even a large % increase is F all in terms of pounds and pence

moulding has really buggered this SP with all his stupid decisions (not taking softbank ingenuity money straight away; saying he would list beauty, give up golden share, go to premium market and doing none of it, paying so over thr top for Cult, not allowing DD for TO parties, doing stupid interviews with lads mags, losing most large II investors and not getting new ones etc etc etc)

we can catch a drop easily enough though
safe to say, we are in a terrible position now

I would question what has this got to do with the core business which is beauty/ nutrition/ "tech"

I could accept it links to MyPro in theory but there only a few myPro prodcuts for sale, so i would add this to the vanity project sell list with hotels/ spas/ THG experience/ THG luxury, and invest in growing the core

what is the point of dual listing - US II can buy now, but look at the volumes and SP - no II wants to buy. in past 12 months, blackrock have sold out, rowe price bought in and then sold out at least half, Jupiter have sold out at least half...no II have bought these

better to fix governance, fix transparency, deliver an actual strategy, save cash, deliver positive cash flow, move to premium listing, ditch golden share, stop having outbursts in public like DQ, massively ramp up ingenuity or cut capex and overheads etc etc

this company has potential but has so many fundamental but simple problems that a professional CEO could fix

yeah sure that - clearly they dont though as the 537m they have will last until at least 2025 - anyone who does a cash discount model will know this + all analysts have confirmed this

unless the writer here meant for m&a and i agree on this - but tbh, they did far too much of this so happy they cant, even though i bet there are a lot of distressed companies they could buy cheap

nice reframe 2phevs - agree with you and also with Oxygen - this is bombed out so even okish results and a degree of what the plan is going forward will help

just look at AO. after their latets profit warning. crap company, no growth and no margin, but just giving an update on their plan to exit germany, led to a +20% uplift over the following week

same with asos, crap fast fashion company but even though their was essentially just profit warning and sales slowdown, they have materially out performed THG since update

THG do not help themselves by doing no Q2 update, making investors wait a full 6 months for a trading update, anf then having MY, Q3 and Q4 in the space of less than 4 months

seems we will be going into this critical results very close to the ATL - and with shorts increasing, I m not afraid to admit I am s**ting myself
even if results are crazy amazing, with brilliant strategy, what do we actually think the SP will go up by ? +20% means we are at 63p, +30% 69p...we were at 71p one month ago

seems the damage is done - i am crazy underwater here

not with you there Licker - he spent 1m quid of his own money on shares, and he guided that he would update in 6 months from taking the job. the mid year is 6 months after he said that and a perfect forum for him to update

with you there SteveinHull...I m ok with THG doing its normal pony performance on red days, but it never ever ever rises on market blue days
its a hated company - board and exec team need to earn their money on Thursday - its appalling to be behind asos and boo, both of which have issued multiple profit warnings

not sure if right of use counts as a tangible asset, so its just the top one + inventiory which was 466m and receivables at 263m + cash at 530m, but then offset debt (488), lease liabiliies (305) and trade and other payables (680m) and you have back side of F all assets

pretty low - its in FY results and end of year report

all true SP - and agree share price is silly low
but for Barclays and Jeffries, a lot of their SP valuation is based on THG ingenuity commerce at 108-112m in 2022, so it is key ie. if they miss, these analysts will reduce their SP target

incredibly poor performance on a blue market day - even if results were amazing and this shot up 20%, it would still only be 62p or so....we are pretty f'ed short term
