During the 5-year period, the most active farm-in company was Total who completed 15 deals, whilst the most active farm-out company has been Tullow who completed 19.' Major oil company risk management, may have waited until EA appoval granted before allowing formal BPC farmout negotiations.

Hi Plutus. Welcome to the message board. I too am new here, however a BPC shareholder for many years. Assuming the 35m shares are held by savvy persons who take advice, and assuming they want out, i doubt they will try to liquidate them in a day or two. It will be nuts. I personally would not go short on 12th March! Especially if good RNS's are in or expected to be in.... the pipeline (if you pardon the pun).

i also like the para relating to the liceense fees IF ANY in the RNS. The Board would have had the right to state since 2018, 'why should we pay for something that has not been approved , due to political environmental issues.'
Today's RNS.....
'The Company and the Government are working towards a final agreement on the amount of licence fees payable for the period to 2018 and the two years to December 2020 (if any, and subject to any reconciliations of prior amounts paid by the Company that may be required), and in the EA the parties have acknowledged that they will continue to work collaboratively with a view to finalising this long outstanding matter within the next 60 days.'

Hi Guys This is my first post re BPC on this forum. I found many of your BPC contibuted posts over the years very informative and thank you for that. Interesting add on to Brynjon's tearsheet post. I found an II Message board 271691 from 2010 states..........

'Apologies for the O/T. Been watching BPC since 4p but never had cash available and what I did have bought SQZ abd MXP in my SIPP. Now that I have cash, with the recent rises to 15p, any views on whether this will continue to rise or retrace.
There is mention of big jumps when BPC completes the farm outs and a price of 400p/+ in the FT. '
