In my view this is a planned strategy from Adonis to takeover the company on the cheap. It's been nearly 1 year since the gas find no agreement so far and no news.
Expect a cheap takeover now at 40p-50p.
The raise was to get families and friends in.

The insiders have already bought 13% of the shares at 18p. So there js nno need fke them to buy more.Today's price may be just p.i selling shares at 21 p for what they bought at 18p.

If there a farm in , what kind of cash this could bring to Chariot and what percentage they may sell for Anchois?
What will be done with the proceeds given they have already raise 25m pounds recently?

I have been asking this question for some times.
If they bought 13% in the market the price would have rocketed to 50+ by now.
This could easily be a bidder who with the blessing of management has taken a position and waiting for the next steps. Eg how good cpr is?
In my view once this raise is over we will be 50+in a few days.

Best option to maximize value for shareholders is to sell the morocco business for £1bn+ give a 75p dividend and use £250m to develop green hydrogen and other projects.
Brazil and Namibia we should farm out and let some big boys be the operator.
Plenty of options now to get Plenty of £££.

this whole fundraising reminds me of Helios.
At the height of the Namibia oil craze, Adonis, Paul and the rest decided to create a new company called Helios. What was the purpose of it? Most likely as insiders they wanted to benefit personally should Nimrod have been the success that was predicted. It never worked out so Helios disappeared like Pompei.

10 years later, this is looking like a repeat. Insiders who knows the data, cpr decided they wanted to benefit from it .the difference is that this time we have had a successful drilling so the insiders are most likely to profit .

I have made the same point before.the only issue with this is because of the open offer, this will take 2 weeks to execute.dont expect any movement in the share price until then.
After that it is fairly obvious we will have some good RNS.

The quasi insider shaheholder used to claim some rns coming soon. He has seen the data bla bla bla.
Most here are as good as the average investor.

Until the open offer is not complete in 2 weeks expect speculation both from rampers/derampers.
For me I have made my mind. ADONIS would not have put another 500k if there was anything wrong here. He is an insider and decided to bring 20m from friends. These 20m will be 100m soon. I stand by this for now.

This is being delayed to allow family and friends in.
Who are these investors who came in? Any guess and if they now hold more than 3% will they report it?
My guess is once all these capital raising is done the CPR will suddenly appear like magic.

We should be trading around 40p by now.
In order to get ceo, friends, family on board everything was delayed by 1- 2 months.
The put a discount of 30% on the price of 27 around Easter and this is why the increase did not gather momentum afterwards.
Now we should climb to 40's soon.

This is timing. If there is a takeover tomorrow they will miss out. Load up today when it's not too late.
I feel management feel a takeover is imminent otherwise I don't see why they did not do the raise after the cpr.

How long b4 a takeover approach? Any guess? Before the cpr is released? Before the financing?

Better load up like the management team for family and kids college etc.

For those who remember me, I am startrader.
Was the one who made the Helios discovery. Was convinced at the time that management was trying to acquire Chariot by setting up another company.
Helios was a bad thing to do at the time and clearly put some people off.
The story is different today. There is less leaks and this is a better management team. Like the long timers here I expect this to go to 100 p+ and then be taken over.

Looks like this will be taken over. The lack of price action makes no sense. Does Adonis really to want to wait 3 years ?
Why not cash out and start a new business. This is what Adonis does best.
40-50 p is looking like a realistic valuation.
