@bullsbears you don't have to doubt - it's all in the files on the Cineworld's website. The estimated cash flow is just under (600m) for September alone which is caused by debt re-structuring, interest payments and other things.

500m won't last 11 months, not even enough to last until November by Cineworld's own estimate.

Thanks Jing72 and 77bb, hopefully, some big players can note your warning. I really want 2.80p top up and the SP just won't go any lower! It's a bit frustrating.

@Hexam, when you say it depends in particular on the court case. Can you elaborate? How would it change Cineworld's situation if (a) the court halves the compensation, (b) orders to repay legal fees + a small fine for CINE pulling out of the deal?

debt is not a problem if it can be managed. I guess TLW just sticks to a schedule and Rahul won't be in a hurry to pay back beyond what needs to be repaid.

by taking over you mean repaying everything by the end of the month? Interest payments are also huge (in September) but then get down to a more manageable level which is good to see.

September is projected to be really bad, from Cineworld's own forecast they would have (600m) cash flow deficit by the end of September. OK, I get that the film slate is bad and they would be (~135m) in the red because of that but then in the US in the category "Other" there's almost minus 300m for September alone, also add current liabilities and interest payments and you'll get to (600m) figure. But that is insane, even a mega film slate isn't going to help!

On the contrary, I would like the SP to get closer to 2p because 2p vs 3p makes a huge difference for a top up but makes absolutely no difference to the current Cineworld situation.

Just scrolled down through the comments to see if someone has posted regarding the news that CINE had only 4m in cash at the time of filing for Ch.11. This is chicken feed for a company of that size! I'm looking forward to study the numbers more closely on the 22nd.

Hexam, would you agree that they'll have to put a value to the NewCo after restructuring? This valuation is expected to be much higher than current mcap. The lenders would agree D4E in return for support restructuring but what percentage would be attributed to the current shareholders? We simply don't know. It could be 5, 10 or 20% you name it... Say, the NewCo would be valued at 3bn and holders get 10% (significant dilution - as promised) which is about 300m ~ translates to 20p. This is the reason why the SP has not gone to zero since the Ch11 RNS.

we don't know what deal is there after restructuring, will shareholders get any stock in NewCo in exchange for the old shares.
a) if there's no deal = complete wipe out
b) could be bad ratio but depends on IPO price.
c) 1:1 exchange but increased overall number of shares
In any case, there's not much to cheer with Ch.11

@Mrninjazx6 this comment was specific to that moment, the stock was down to 3.8, up to 5 and again down to 4.

@Hexam, it doesn't work like that! Any slices of the pie have to be voted for by the shareholders. That's why those are called "voting rights". Mooky can't single handedly dilute the stock via a huge rights issue.

@HNS_77 notice that the so called breaking headline came from a private account, they know exactly what they're doing! As you correctly pointed out there could be some truth in the word "preparing"... e.g. Cineworld was preparing to file for Ch.11 and then quickly made a U-turn. I don't know what's their game but someone wants the SP to stay suppressed. Sabah is just some kind of pawn and those who want CINE down can afford to throw some upcoming business journalists under the bus.
