Marshalls raised some funds at 650 just over a year ago and now 650 seems further than the moon. Possibly some big players didn't like the debt situation and simply exited when profits began to shrink. One long term solution would be reducing debt to manageable levels in a high interest rate environment.

Any bad news get instantly reflected on the SP and any positive news are viewed to be short-lived. It has been interesting reading global news this afternoon where China has recorded deflation of 0.3% year-on-year and the so-called economists are extremely worried. However, a slight deflation is awesome for the end consumer, especially at the time of record high interest rates. They want you to believe that deflation is bad for the economy which is only true if you have massive loans and want all that money to become worthless.

Spot gas price has just shot up. This should strengthen Tullow's negotiations for a long term agreement of Ghana gas exports which is due end of Q3.

Wolf, just out of interest, does the stock need to be cancelled in this situation before one could unlock and keep his money made from shorting? If the newco comes to market and the lenders will start losing value and their money for real (not hypothetically like now), it would be perfect time to short. My question is should I wait until the newco crumbles or try to get out a couple of weeks before that happens?

Anyone who predicted that UK administration wouldn't be a walk in the park - it looks like it will be with Alixpartners appointed as administrators. Correct me if I'm wrong but those cats are on the lenders' payroll.

Positive RNS? All RNSs have been positive over the period of last year and the SP has gone down. WFT is a speculation, nobody knows how long it'll be in place and how would it affect the SP when lifted.

There's almost a textbook bull flag on 4h chart and the break out is the only real thing here atm.

Some sort of "fake admin" because nobody else is allowed to come in with an offer for the group's assets. IMV, administration cannot translate into long term recovery for the creditors according to their plan. During Ch.11 they never allowed for a fair auction and none of the bids were disclosed. Also, those bankruptcy lawyers come up with some nonsense and then later reference that as if it was a fact: "according to the statement in .... "

Anyway, it's the end of the road for us so wishing all the best to the shareholders who fought till the end.

That it's coming anytime soon. :) I've read in some Peru mining magazine that temporary extensions are generally possible (before a mine is eventually shut). Maybe, that's not ideal but better than an abrupt closure. I still think chances are good that Inmaculada keeps running in Q3, I see it as 75:25 bet.

That guy should not be allowed to manage anything, if he or one of his associates are appointed to any board where you hold shares, better sell on the same day. It's good at least we can't see his happy face through the rns.

CWWX, the lenders advised Ch.11 to take over the restructured company for debt. The only way Cineworld can carry on and ditch the Plan if it can afford paying interest on loans and to repay the DIP which is clearly impossible, and according to the judge Cineworld is "hopelessly insolvent" but w/o the debt burden (4,5bn$) and high interest repayments the newco. would become a profitable business overnight.

Penta, the new owners are the old lenders. I understand their motivation to reward those few who helped to completely get rid of shareholders, and it's a large business with question marks all over valuations etc. so job well done on their side.

My take on the rns this morning is that lender's Plan has been passed which also means 35m payoff to the crooks. How on earth was that approved in a restructuring process of a public company?
