Just confirms the scale of market manipulation in THG and other UK listed shares by MM's and other market players that obviously includes the Hedge Funds and Brokers..all perfectly legal of course, aided and abetted by the stock exchange authorities and so called regulators it seems?

It lost half its value because of Labour's tax and NI raid on businesses and individuals. Also the 5% Council Tax hike is yet another raid on household incomes. The Labour Party is trying very hard to Bankrupt the UK Economy and wants 100% of people's earnings in tax to fund there stupid Carbon Zero Lord Milliband pipe dream and to please the Union barons in the Railways etc..! 🙄

It's irrelevant how large the holdings are, all of those shares can be loaned out to Hedge Funds for shorting..

Either way, any institution who believes in the long term can lend their shares to Hedge Funds as a short/medium hedge from market turbulence whether MM likes it or not. Hedge Funds cannot lose the bet as the company loaning the shares will always allow them to be bought back when required. It really comes down to the incompetence of the Chairman and BOD to manage the business for the benefit of employees and private shareholders! THG's Chairman has been impotent and incompetent at ensuring strategic targets have been met by the CEO and BOD it seems? JAO ADYOR!

Also some good information on lending out of shares on Quora.. basically it seems that if you hold shares in a nominee account then the broker can do whatever they like with your shares, the same as a bank can do with your cash. So long as they give you your money back if you sell the shares' as a bank would do if you asked for your deposits back, then there's nothing to stop them, it just another way for them to make money from you it seems? The only problem is it means that Hedge Funds can leverage huge shorts positions without

laying out much in the way of capital. Adyor!

It's quite clear imo that they do and they wouldn't tell you even if they did.. the only way to stop them is not to use Nominee accounts maybe, but that's almost impossible these days?

A lot of Brokers holding PI's shares have obviously been lending them out to Hedge Funds helping to destroy the SP which is just part of the game...The brokers are making a fortune in daily interest payments, the Hedge Funds are making a fortune opening and closing their short positions, the brokers aren't passing those interest payments onto PI's who are being screwed by their brokers, lending out shares without permission. Manipulation by any other word it seems? As MM said in a recent article.. "The purpose of ‘the game’ is simple: bet that a share price will fall, and make sure you win the bet by doing everything possible to discredit the company. “The more aggressive the claims and actions against a company, the bigger the share price impact. Strange work, I know, but it pays big. And if you repeat it time and again, against a plethora of UK listed companies, then the rewards are mind-boggling.”..........

All what I've been saying for ages...the SP has been 'legally' (lol) manipulated for many months with Shorts, CFD's plenty of FUD etc etc etc..something brewing..Weve seen how easy it was to manipulate ASOS shares with two people managing to get their hands on near 60% of the company in quick time....
