Glad I trimmed after the AGM (and no I won't be topping up at a lower price - just sitting with what I have. When NM starts doing webinars again be worried. You just know it's going to be because of a raise or a ask for help. The good thing is, he really only does have less than 12 months now to provide value to shareholders and he's gone. The bad is, that's about 12 months away. As long as NM is in charge this stock will not provide near term shareholder value. Just look over the chart of when SOLG listed to today... pretty poor performance against a number of sectors / ETF and underlying commodity itself.

not out bozo (and yes you are one) but I am derisked and have put some into GGP. I did that as soon as NM got voted back in... and made more than just holding SOLG outright. Like I said, SOLG is a trading mining stock, which is not what you want it to be as an explorer. Discover.. farm out / sell and move on. There are enough prospects to do that.

Also to note that looking ever since SOLG has started to trade, it's been a pretty poor buy and hold 'explorer'. Especially when you look at a stock like GGP... now thats what you want with an explorer mining company. NM is delusional and his fanatic fans as much. SOLG is definitely not a buy and hold. Sell and buy at extremes and you'll make quite a bit. You know when that is when 'investors' start mentioning £1.50 / £2 price targets and then again when we are down 20/30% in a day, and heading to low double digits. NM does not care about the small shareholders. He is very happy on his $1m salary, which again the majority of investors here passed through AGM.

bit late for that earthling. We all had our chance to not vote through Nick and try a different strategy and the majority wanted him to keep his big salary, sit idle and not sell of assets when he should to prove up funding. Now we just wait in the hope of getting taken over. I hope not everyone's eggs are in one basket.

It's a clear lack of confidence TBTT but it has been passed. You know that NM will not resign. What tools / avenues are left then ?

NM stays = share price up (less uncertainty).
NM goes = share price up. SOLG will be sold, but no where near the £1/2 range.

regardless of paid article or not, what Cornerstone and Irwin want make more strategic sense than what NM wants to do. I'm hoping their share issue resolution does not go through and hopefully means more strategic thinking of selling assets to fund further prospects. If you look at the monthly chart of SOLG its pretty poor and down trending. GGP have made much better strategic moves. Shows what better management can do to extract value quickly. NM sits on his hands, collects his million dollar salary and so has no hurry in really doing what is in shareholders best interest. Poor form!

amount of bickering on this board is unreal! Shipright I think the market (investors) are missing a trick here. I am back at full allocation here and waiting. Following the allocation of shares to Valuestone, I expect NM to release lots more news now. Seems to be his MO.

wow round trip! disappointing for sure. SOLG is as much a trading stock as my tech stocks! Just hit 61.8 Fib retracement.

Thanks for sharing that schlem. I bought that drop and good to know why it just dived. Respect you have your own portfolio to manage. All news so far for me is positive.

Yup, this sector right now is ripe for more consolidation. I see Kaz deal just went through today.

trading action here looks amazing right now. Stochastics have just started to turn and making higher highs. Await news flow now to ignite

About as bullish as a (birthday) candle as you would want today :) .. taking out the last large drop. Good sign. Time to top up again.
