SOLG need to build up trust again after a battering. Higher chance is of a JV as its mentioned in RNS. I'm surprised on the back of that the share price isn't higher. We are basically being told how we will continue to fund ourselves going forward. Opportunity knocks. Top up time
Great close. And while I closed out my long as it reached my target, its found a base with great support. GLA. And if s.smithy comes on again to rant about ezj going back to 6's you know its time to buy more LOL.
Pad is that a note as of this morning? Quady... I think Liberum would have more of an ear to the ground re: any potential rumblings to M&A activity in the mining space than you. Their mining team is pretty good.
Risk rewards here just got as good as it can with that news this morning. 21 level seems solid support having bounced off three times.... I topped up too. Every time in the past its run eventually to 38 level. I hope that repeats. Should see an influx of short term traders soon. RK, you've been in corporate finance... how long does due diligence usually take with potential suitors already in the pipeline as in the case of SOLG and JV partners?
Thanks RK, all what Zoro said and: - What is there relationship now with other large stakeholders (perception is it needs fixing) - Do they anticipate requiring any near term funding (even though we have all debated, are they able to comment on this) - When is the next webinar (LOL)
Well here we are again at support levels that have held in March 2018 / Sep 2018 / July 2020. Still trading under the 8 day moving which is the real problem here, but may be a level to take a small position and wait for the break on upside to MA. GLA
Just way too much uncertainty here RK. I, and sure others would be happy to add even 10% higher, should they provide clarity as to next steps that made operational sense. Can't blame those for selling out even at this price.

Quady, there was never any hint of NM stepping down, and there was never anything in any board strategy or RNS to state that (as you always says seems to be your gospel on investment in SOLG - so contradicting yourself!!!). You obviously need to reform the past to suit your investment decisions and will only change it in hindsight. I see exactly why RK and others find it frustrating trying to make sense of your logic. Just Bizarre!
RE: Warren Irwin tweeting about Solgold sale11 Mar 2021 09:14
I don't think the BOD were saying that they should remove NM from his post. That was everyone else said that had influence... and it happened. It would pay and your investment strategy to just stop and think what's happening here vs reading what just the RNS say. The board have NOT been 100% transparent, as the share price and recent moves have shown. It would pay you to take into account what other commentators are saying on this board.
RE: Warren Irwin tweeting about Solgold sale11 Mar 2021 09:02
I didn't say he does. If anything that you should take away from what I wrote was that he has way more insight than you or me on this board, especially when it comes to SOLG. He has continually said that SOLG should sell / JV its assets vs going alone. The same guy who said NM would be gone.
RE: Warren Irwin tweeting about Solgold sale11 Mar 2021 08:17
Grimbergen, more than that, Irwin runs a diversified portfolio and has a track record of being very successful in backing junior explorers (which SOLG is). He also know much more about the mining business and therefore the players and movers behind the scenes i.e. M&A (and much more insight than QUADY). Irwin's view that SOLG should be sold / JV makes a lot more sense than SOLG 'going it alone' mantra. I really hope that new CEO brings the wisdom to see this as well and not just a puppet for NM and aiming to turn SOLG into an explorer.
