I'm pretty sure last time the options expired, SOLG simply added new options OTM (maybe someone can correct me). I am expecting they'll grant new options this AGM too.

rcgl it's all about opportunity cost. What's to assume we aren't at this price in a few years? QE ends next year. I totally get getting out of low conviction stocks and into growth stocks or even cash. Time is ticking.

Why is everyone dooming on voting out new board? Institutional investors / Large holders are not going to simply accept 40p. Look at Irwin's Tweets. He is expecting top dollar. This is just about the old board being booted out. I for one will vote for that. You can still see a high bid price without NM on the board

The real value of the company today is very much inline with analyst valuations.. about 60ishp. Nobody wants to hang around for more dilution and a lower share price... oh except you.

disagree DBW. BHP don't have to do anything, but continue to talk to the largest shareholders and convince them to side with BHP.

DBW.... Well said. Novice its not as if thia is a divi paying stock where people can wait and have patience... even a Saint would be vexed by now. Can you imagine the price if AGM brings up something like last year and the PFS sees no reaction as most here expect... forget 25s, we'll likely be seeing 20s. I suspect a lot here are waiting for those two catalyst to decide on future of holding this stock.

Quady, as can be argued the people that are supporting Nick don't understand Opportunity Cost. Markets at all times highs. Commodities at all times high and over a 5 year view, SOLG share price has done sweet FA. Unless of course you bought at the lows and sold at the high (of course everyone here did that). A smarter CEO would have provided value, as an explorer by seeking assets/ JV along the way. Nm got greedy and for his own benefit. We are here with the same average share price but with millions of more shares in issue. Pretty poor.

well said Monte. NM has leached on SOLG for his own (and friends) benefit. DGR has been a disaster for shareholders and I for one am glad he got booted off as CEO. Here's hoping there is more to come this AGM that restricts his involvement and hold on SOLG further. Show me 55p!

Irwin is on a roll.. first Colonial and now banging on CGP again... that along with the in between take from RK surely means fireworks come AGM and then corporate action on SOLG/ CGP. Exciting

I see sangha (M&A banker steering CGP just bought $2m worth of stock). Game is on. Huge flag. From everything shared today, I'd say SOLG board are going to have a difficult AGM. First Irwin and now Sangha.. interesting!

Its a tough crowd RK because.. its becoming apparent that SOLG are out of their depths. Please carry on posting as you see fit. As someone who has been on the buy side, I can support the fact that you will get more information on a one on one with management than without. Its the way you phrase the questions that makes all the difference. Good stuff RK.
