Everyone knows the mining assets are good. This stock is a bet one the war outcome. I did leave this board because it's so draining to constantly discuss. I only read here occasionally now

The value that gets unlocked by a demerger and go-private of the Russian assets is immense, either the war ends and sanctions roll back (possible), or they spin off kazhakstan. This can be achieved in 2022. To me it starts getting really interesting after the split. Hold both shares? Sell poly Ru to 'derisk'? Sell poly Kaz and buy poly Ru for the expected take-private offer? The latter is my bet.

Poly cannot send dividends from Russia to the parent company. The parent cannot issue dividends to the Russian investors. The company is not able to realise it's true value as it is.

I think it will keep rising into PolyCon 22 and will then move higher after all the good news that will come on the day. If there was any further bad news from poly they would have included it in the RNSs

Panda you know I am talking about Russian assets posts merger? The debt assigned to Russian poly is unknown but it won't be 1.8b. it will be split in some way between kaz poly and Russian poly. If BlackRock bought at 7 they may be ok with 3-4 gbp for the Russian assets and keeping the kaz poly assets.
