Stay strong and rest up for Monday
I've been watching the chart closely all day, its locked on 0%, no movement yet
Good posts lat. Pedro is in the early Dunning-Kruger stage. At the Capital Markets Day I would like to hear something about how the debt is proposed to be divided up for the spin-off. I really think the end-game for the assets is POLY (KAZ) listed on the LSE as the spin-off and POLY (RU) getting taken private shortly after the spin-off. Such a pity because the RU assets are low cost / tonne cash machines.
POG had an arrangement that forced them to sell to Gazprom Bank. Poly have no such arrangement in Russia as far as I know. They could sell gold to India or China or UAE in whatever currency they agree with the counterparty.
Pedro, kaz gold sales are in USD. Do you actually think all their revenue is in RUB?
Using intercompany loans and shenanigans to get around Russian capital controls is a terrible idea and is the one thing (perhaps send in addition to tax evasion) that could actually get the Russian assets nationalised. I do not think management will do this
I saw them day somewhere that the ruble debt was for working capital in rubles. I thought it was around 60m USD equivalent but that's been moving around a lot lately
Marble I'm glad to hear you also own pog, diversification is important when investing
They have now delivered all the bad news so the 25th can be forward looking / positive
I'm still surprised there were people who actually thought that divi was getting paid. I'm looking ahead to how to play the spin-off at this point.
Panic, fomo, greed etc
I thought this was going to be a challenge to a 300lb lat pulldown
Someone posted correspondence with IR who suggested they don't need auditors until year end accounts in nine months.
I'm getting ready to slurp. Well overdone dump. Financing is from Russian banks anyhow... 10% Vs 17% ok
I'd be pretty shocked if they came up unable to get an auditor at any cost. There are firms outside the big 4...
