amit is more than capable of announcing umpteen ‘completion’
dates, eh? … the point is that there is never a *payment* date.

pis seem stupid enough to believe it still, tho’ i guess some of them

ok, so i get that part of it is your pessimism / caution about overall
markets and what you see as likelihood of a recession (? meaning
a global one, rather than UK, presumably?) but is there anything
more specific about AZN itself that makes you think it is likely to
do significantly worse than markets overall / peers within its sector?

[… btw you’re more of an optimist than i am about this being
a “post covid” world, but i do hope you are right about that!]

tempted to bank a bit here, but struggling to decide the size of the slice.

pretty well out of glen already, and so some may be banking
profits and taking some risk money off the table ahead of
those results on 15/2. (no-one ever went broke taking profits.)

i’m happily long on AZN, and i thought those results were pretty good.
but i think it’s often helpful to try to understand and take into account
possible counter-arguments /contrarian views in this uncertain world.

therefore, i’d be interested to know about the reasons you see AZN
as an “easy short” from 10, 572. could you explain a bit please? - tia.

if someone was thinking of BP takeover, they better crack
on before it pulls away from them. they snooze, they lose.

yeah, from investment view, my chips remain down for l/t, from a trading
perspective (always a minor note for me) no big position ahead of results.

production report looked ok imv.

nothing great, but equally nothing terrible.
can see why trader types might be a bit ‘meh’,
but nowt wrong from investment perspective.

full year results next week. chips on or off the green beige please.
