i don’t agree with that “vindictive” idea, since that implies amit
would for some reason want to ‘revenge’ himself against peeps
who had purchased shares. but i rather doubt amit has any kind
of feelings at all about pis, once he’s taken the money from them.

the key issue has always been, who might still be persuaded to
hand over even more money to amit? (then devil take the rest).

denzal appears to be confusing part of the title of an article on the
internet with the purported author of that article. the article on
“global data exchange in healthcare market forecast 2022-2030”
is supposedly produced by an outfit called ‘inkwood research’…

‘inkwood research’ claim in those quotes from that link that “cloudtag
inc” is one of the “key players operating in the market…”, and state that
one of the companies “mentioned” in their own report is cloudtag inc.

… so one obvious question is, who are inkwood
research, and how credible are they as an outfit?

… the other fairly obvious question is, what independently
verifiable *evidence* do inkwood research give to support
that rather vague contention that cloudtag is a ‘key player’?

but there doesn’t seem to be very much out there about inkwood. their own
website doesn’t appear to provide any names at all for their management,
analysts or other staff (which is a bit odd!). there’s a bit out there on linkedin
etc. commenting on some hires & fires of people from mumbai for a private
company of that name, & linkedin/crunchbase etc throws up someone called
‘anya kapoor’ as the CEO /founder for inkwood (and ex mumbai university).

… the other thing that’s very obvious from a brief glance through
inkwood research’s own website is some pretty poor written english
and lousy proof-reading skills. not the be-all and end-all, to be sure
but not a promising indicator. (the clumsy prose text & typos remind
me a lot of amit b-h’s poor quality updates on his cloudtag website.)

? and what independently verifiable evidence do inkwood provide

those ‘effectiveness’ percentages just relate to the degree of
protection that the respective vaccines seem to give regarding
death / very serious illness or the need for inpatient admission.

but they *don’t* connect with differences in the degree to which
infected individuals can transmit the virus, nor with the way in
which the virus can incubate and reproduce within each host.

so as far as we know from the available public domain info, there
is no difference in probability between covid-19 mutations arising
in infected individuals who have had western mRNA vaccines etc,
versus infected individuals who have had sinovac etc. - the difference
is how ill people get when they have the virus, rather than different
vaccines having different success rates at preventing novel mutations.

? but one could ask the same anyway about pretty much any plane
arriving from anywhere in UK, or indeed about passengers on any
london bus, any london tube etc? - since very few people are now
routinely testing in UK, & the UK government is no longer mandating
lockdown, WFH, enforcing of social distancing, etc, perfectly possible
that pretty large numbers of infected folks of any/all nationalities are
already just sauntering around in the UK. relatively high vaccination
rates (+ partial immunity from previous waves of infection) mean that
current covid variants are not killing that many folks in the UK, but the
vaccines don’t tend to prevent people from getting and transmitting
covid-19, they just tend to reduce the severity/mortality from infection.

(in other words, the UK is already ‘riddled’ with covid, it’s just
that we are living with it at large in the population already.)

problematic issue imv,, globally, ongoing low
rates of genomic sequencing re new variants.

sorry to hear that about all those family funerals. hopefully
2023 will have some better things ahead for you and yours.

(almost nobody falls for those nigerian scams where some yahoo boy
mass e-mails a thousand people asking for help laundering hidden gold
/ misappropriated army funds, etc etc. but “almost nobody’ is not the
same as nobody at all, and the only expense for a yahoo boy is 30 mins
in an internet cafe. if only five of those 1000 people reply, and then only
one of those 5 can be reeled in by the nigerian fraudster, the scammer
still makes easy money without having had to put any capital at risk.)

hi soyo. it costs amit almost nothing to put a brief update on the cloudtag
website. there are no listing fees, nomad fees, company broker fees, etc.

all he has to do is keeping paying small sub for the website hosting, then
take a few minutes on his ipad or mobile over a cup of coffee to tap out
that kind of update, unverified by anyone else. i do agree that very, very
few people would fall for amit asking for more money, given what has
happened over the last few years. but since it costs amit almost nothing
to put out an ‘update’, and clearly would take very little time or effort
either, amit would still be making money even if only 1 in 500 or 1 in 1000
CTAG shareholders fall for it. e.g. if the update costs him £20, and five
people hand over £2000, that’s still almost £10,000 of completely free
money for amit for almost zero effort. …not a bad living / side-hustle …

rather than mass vaccination. shame they didn’t use all that
time in ‘zero covid’ lockdown to prepare better, sad news for
many elderly / sick / immunocompromised chinese people.

hi chimers, most likely in my view as he is still trying to persuade
some people to send him more money (either already doing it,
and/or softening people up for a request that’s yet to be made).

(i don’t think it’s got anything to do with just placating existing holders, as
frankly there’s not much that existing holders could do about amit at this
stage even if they were very, very upset with him for taking their money.)

there is no evidence at all that there really is any kind of “non-disclosure
agreement” other than amit’s own say-so. some folks, myself included,
might suggest that it could be unwise to give amit’s word much weight.

moreover, there has never been any independently verifiable evidence
that cloudtag ever managed to develop any viable product, service or
intellectual property that had any significant commercial value. as peterbo
has highlighted to denzal, there seems to be no extant verifiable public
domain information proving that cloudtag currently has any meaningful
operations, work programme, IP, employees, base, equipment, etc etc.

the only indicator that cloudtag has anything of worth that it is trying
to sell comes from amit’s own updates, either posted directly onto the
cloudtag website, or uncritically quoted by little internet magazines.

articles quoting unverified material that’s been supplied by amit hardly count as
articles quoting real “information” imv - more like out of date marketing puff…

i wonder why amit’s little helper only gave those two options:

1) “complete closure” and funds
or
2) “full details of plan going forward”

? should there not be an option (3) to consider.
