Tiptop - i think its truly irrelevent. When i sold my company to a plc, i had a short list of a couple i could sell to and one in particular so i waited till the ceo went on holiday, phoned the chairman that day, met the following day on a thursday, met again friday, was told he was watching rugby all weekend and not to interrupt him or the deal was off, did the deal in early hours of following wed. Took about a week i think for them to publish. European cup final this weekend so not being funny but if they are trying to get the german pharma company making the interferon on board they might be die hard Bayern supporters so might do as my former chairman did. Know this sounds daft but i think they'll do the rns whenever they've done the deal(s) / licensing agreements and that depends on the individuals they are dealing with. who knows? One might be sick; another might be on holiday; another might have to fly round the world to off-set the potential debt. So on a bilion quid deal with some degree of risk, you might do that deal with one or two banks but they might then sell on to more banks the following day round the world, to off-set risk and make a mark up. So depends if it goes private when this latter is more likely or public or licensing. Who knows? But i think day is irrelevent tbh.
