I hate it when it goes more than 3 std devs upwards all at once as invariably falls back to consolidate before then moving upwards again... i like nice solid hills upwards not things that look like the matterhorn. Hope it means a nice ii coming in but would prefer to be within bollinger bands upwards...

10 years actually.... i bought at same time... have held ever since but my average was still £10 this July but then went into a 'golden cross' on July 23 and bought to dilute to £1.18 which was just lucky - just pleased i am no longer looking at a nasty red figure on all my screens. Also hold a few others of his which are now coming good...

Cant see bojo or anyone else shouting about treatment options as it would let the virus loose.... if everyone thought they could have a quick sniff of interferon we’d all forget about social distancing etc overnight. Just because you have a medicine doesnt mean we want everyone to get sick.

to buy all they can between 180 and 200 for an ii and every so often they do just that. Amazed no RNS from change in holdings from last week and this. Not bothered about RNS from company as that will come in due course anyway

hydrochloride; Jiangsu Simcere Pharm. Co.,100mg dispersible tablets), or a combination of IFN-a2b plus
ARB, results showed that irrespective of the treatment group, none of the patients evaluated in the study
exhibited persistent signs or symptoms of end organ dysfunction. Specifically, none of the patients
developed respiratory distress requiring prolonged oxygen supplementation or intubation; consequently,
none of the patients in the cohort required intensive care. The study found that age, sex and co-morbidities
has no effect on disease course or laboratory measurements. In terms of viral clearance, treatment with
IFN-a2b with or without arbidol significantly reduced the duration of detectable virus in the upper respiratory
tract and in parallel reduced duration of elevated blood levels for the inflammatory markers, IL 6 and CRP.
The findings suggest that IFN-a2b should be further investigated as a therapy in COVID-19 cases [17]
Currently, the WHO does not recommend any specific anti-viral agent against COVID-19 [24]. However,
Chinese guidelines recommend the nebulization of interferon alpha at a dose of 5 million U/treatment in

Meelie, you are doing ok buying at 2.03... thats what the new ii's are doing and i suspect they must have a reason other than having a load of loose cash lying around. So you are in very good company.

appears to be circa £2 - i reckon 3-4m were sold and bought by ii's this morning - IMHO just a changing of the old guard to the new guard; old guard bought in with averages probably <20p but new ii's are buying in at £2 - now why would they be doing that....?!? now rising due to the ri's on low volumes ... time will tell so until an rns - which i guess is imminent on these volumes - no point in discussing. The MF article simply precised says that they think Vanrock and the Rockefeller trusts are wrong and they are right. Think i'd rather trust the latter as i bet they did more research and they are quite active investors and could even take it private. But for the nervous on this board - the big guys are buying in at £2+. They aren't doing so to lose money.

I still think my original hypothesis on drop may be correct... early ii's been in for years, on 10x+ multiples can see it wont be another 10x multiple so lowering their stakes, as they expect it to be sold. Time for change of guard as they probably had an investment timeline of 4-5 years. New guard of ii's coming in and they are buying around 2 - 2.16... so my theory is Lansdowne of LL are selling and the new ii's are buying. So former have said to MM - get me x; new ii's have said to MM get me y price and that is around £2 in my view. The old ii's have met all their targets; the new ii's have only just invested circa £2 so they have a way to go. You can never buy any at lowest price as i am presuming they are being held for large infill orders.
Re the comments on must be ri's not ii's due to low stock size orders - this is how ii's buy - dribs and drabs to avoid paying too much and bringing too much attention - learnt this off Woodford buying patterns... random multiple small amounts.

Been pondering this... my best guess is as follows: it had a handful of original Institutional investors who had been in for 3-5 years or so. They are not daft and have made a ton of dosh. However, they can also see their future returns wont be another 10+x as the company will be sold, so there is a changing of the guard. The new investors have bought between 2 and 2.16 ish so my best guess is that one of the original investors is selling and one of the new investors will buy at 2 as they did the other day - as otherwise why did they buy then? So personally, i wouldnt be surprised to see an rns saying lansdowne or ll have sold some and that another ii will pick them up circa current price. The aims of the original investors have probably been met. The aims of the latter ii have not and they came in circa 2quid ish. Thats my best bet anyway. It is going to be hard for synairgen as another poster pointed out but thats irrelevent as most believe it is about to get bought out at a significant premium to the sp so i dont think many think it will synairgen to market this.

Well dont worry steadyeddy as its quite hard to buy any decent quantity at the moment... and more traded in first 2 hours today than friday...
