I might have wring end of stick but there were two trials, one for early/moderate and the other for severe cases. They have a rolling assesment With the fda ... the share price went down in july when fda said they needed more info but turned out they needed more data on existing trials not new trials. It has been okd for hiv and breast cancer and on back of that got this rolling approval status... but its not exactly a weak drug so not sure how much they are giving to early cases etc... i mean if you were 40 and had covid mildly would hou want to take a chemo drug for triple neg breast cancer? Maybe its a weaker dose or soemthing... dont know enough...

Also, my understanding which is probably wrong as dont know too much about this, but my understanding - feel free to correct - was that the cytokine storm thing was basically when you got to the ARDS stage when you life expectancy was less than 1 in 2. Most people dont get to this stage so i cant see them giving essentially chemotherapy to everyone on the off chance it would have progressed.??? But i do think cytodyn are doing great work...

They are at about the same stage as synairgen in terms of phase 2 covid trial etc... the current approval for fast track is for triple neg breast cancer and hiv.

No one company can supply the Global demand and also certain drugs may interact with certain co-morbities so probably more than one required. There is room for aspirin, iBuprofen and paracetamol...
